POSTS STORIES REELS

Traveling is probably my favorite thing in the whole world 🗺️ and it doesn’t even need to be too far from home. But getting in your car, getting out of your element, seeing something new, and staying somewhere that inspires you— is a must for me as a creative. Pioneertown is one of those places, around every corner is something inspiring — it feels like a movie set and that’s because it is! I’ve been to the town a few times passing through and always grab a burrito and a drink from @reddogpioneertown 👌🏼 but getting to spend two days, I wandered, I read the history, and I fell even more in love with the dusty western charm 🤠

If you haven’t been and you haven’t heard of it before, I’m here to tell you it’s a must stop if you’re traveling through the Joshua Tree area. Pappy and Harriet’s is also an iconic venue where prominent bands/artists play intimate sets (it’s a huge goal of mine to see a show there one of these days). There’s always something happening in this little desert town 🌵 by @brooklynnfilm

✨Manifestation ✨I truly believe all of us can do it, but I think a select few of us are exceptionally good at it. I’d like to believe I’m one of those select few.
I’ve done everything I’ve ever wanted to do, a few years ago I was really dreaming of going to Hawaii, and I thought it was so far out of reach, not even 5 months later I was in Hawaii with mackgoth. A year later, I wanted to buy an RV and I had a vision of exactly what I wanted and 2 weeks later BOOM there it was outside of @boonemilwaukee, the exact replica of what I had dreamed up. I always wanted to travel, and now I’ve been to almost every state (only missing 3). When I was 18 I wanted to travel the U.S in a Volkswagen Bus and publish a picture book of everything I saw and the people I met, with stories from my travels and the strangers I encountered, and in some way — this APP is kind of that for me (and there’s still time to publish a book if I wanted).
Anyway, the bigger point here is that— you have to be careful with what you wish for, and you have to be precise. And I think that’s what I’m really learning so far this year. I have always been so clear with what I want, but I ask for what I think is within my means. I think of a big dream, and make it smaller, more realistic, and ask for that — which is truly beautiful because I get it. But what would happen if I was honest with myself and really asked for the life I really want, not the life I think is within reach? I’ve always had this vision / dream of traveling like a broke drifter girl in the 60s/70s; I’ve always romanticized it and now it’s literally my life. Now how can I have this, with a little more *glamour* 🌹

Moral of the story is, don’t be afraid to dream big. No matter how silly it seems, everything I’ve accomplished this far I was told was stupid and out of reach, and I’ve DONE ALL OF IT 💘 (except make money, I’m still working on that 😂 I make enough to get by— personally I think there are some spiritual blocks there as well because I grew up on food stamps). But I’m working on clearing those and accepting and asking for abundance. What have y’all manifested that you’re proud of? 🔮 #filmisnotdead by @brooklynnfilm

Selfies on film 🎞️
August 2026 - May 2022

There’s like a million more but ya know, Instagram only gives you 20 slides 😅🤠 I realized I don’t frequently post these and they just kinda live in la la land on my phone 📱

I’ve been feeling disconnected from myself lately and I think it’s because I’m once again, shedding my skin and evolving. Also virgo season brings about wayyyy too much self reflection — so here’s some me in some reflective surfaces. by @brooklynnfilm

Summer 2024

I have family in Southern Italy and visit for a month or so in the summer whenever life aligns. I never shared these because I couldn’t find a place on my feed for them. I’m submitting some work to a print shop and realized how many photos I’ve never shared.

Originally this was gonna be a NYC / Italy mash up but you’ll just have to wait for the NYC post! by @brooklynnfilm

Today, I turn 31 and I wish I could tell y’all I have it all figured out. I have no idea and every time I think I’m really close to something, god, the universe, or whatever higher power reminds me I’m here to learn and to experience — not to know everything. As a Virgo, damn I truly wish someone would just give me the cheat codes already 😂 what do you mean I’m 31 and I’m not perfect yet, and I haven’t figured out the ins and outs of love, life, taxes, and patience, and how to not drop food when I eat.

Milwaukee, WI — it feels like my home and my heart are always at war.

I moved from Milwaukee to the Wild West about 3 years ago. I spent 27 years trying to figure out how to get out of the Midwest. And although I am so proud of the life I’ve built, home is always going to be where my heart is.

As I reminisce and sort through the photos, I can’t stop thinking about all of the beauty all over the world and how special it is that the place I am from is where I learned to see that beauty.

I feel more comfortable at a garage hang or at a dive bar than somewhere fancy. I feel hotter in jeans and a white tank than in a dress, and I feel out of place when I have to step outside of that comfort zone. I like people who are passionate about what they do, what they build, and where they’re going.

And Milwaukee is such a blue collar city. Everyone is working so hard to get somewhere, to build something, to support their family. There’s so much grit and resilience. The city was built by brewers and factory workers, on beer, steel, meat and motorcycles.

And I carry that with me more than I was aware of — maybe to a fault. I spend so much time, money, and energy trying to figure out how to get to where I want to be in my career, I forget about all of the little cool shit I wanna do. Like learn to ride, build a muscle car, make one of those 70s latch hook rugs, tumble rocks, write a damn book. It’s just so hard for me to focus on something or spend money if I don’t see the direct benefit of that specific thing on my larger goals.

Life is meant to be lived, and as I’m reminded on every single roadtrip — it truly is about the fucking ride and not the destination and sometimes you have no control over the detours. And I hope, as 31 creeps up on me at the end of this month I can loosen the damn reigns a bit and put time and money into something a little fun and dangerous, because that is also a huge part of growing into the person I want to be! So here’s to Milwaukee and all of the lessons, beauty, grit, and passion the city sent me out into the world with 🍻

Huge shout out to the homie @aaronruperthenning_ for letting me shoot his shop and @jkcoats for the museum tickets by @brooklynnfilm

Believe it or not I got this old Stetson for $10 at an estate sale in Prescott🤠 1970s jumpsuit found on Depop, and boy do I actually need a photo of this thing all the way on but this day was too sweaty for all of that! 🥵 and the coolest micro bikini from @eye.am.swim

This little part of Arizona means a lot to me. I lived off of Ray Road on BLM land just outside of Superior, Arizona in my RV for 6 months (October 2024-March 2025). I was always wandering around back there in the mountains, and going on drives through the little mining towns, stopping into antique malls, little bars, and talking to locals.

I love to bring friends and fellow creatives there because to me it’s a playground and when they see it too, it turns into a fun afternoon creating and exploring something forgotten in time. @hannahxwarren is one of my most talented friends and one of my favorite people to yap with. If you ever get the chance to shoot with her or talk with her, don’t skip it 💌

I wanted to tell a story and this time I chose instant gratification and borrowed @teanihardin’s Leica Q3. It’s been two years since I grabbed a digital camera. It felt good to shake the dust off and step out of my comfort zone. by @brooklynnfilm

Little bit of June on film 🎞️

I’m so excited for these next chapters to unfold and to meet a version of my higher self. Still in limbo with who I have been and who I want to become. Letting go of old narratives and taking accountability are always hard pills to swallow but aye, someone’s gotta do it. You’re in control of your life, your mindset, and if you’re stuck — only you can unstick yourself. Giddy up 🤠
