The Derbodyssey is OFFICIALLY complete!! At our Family Weekend concert, the Derbies used a cappella to survive the wrath of the gods, and finally make it home safely from Salomon Deci. HUGE congrats to our Derbabies on their very first Family Weekend concert, and thank you so much to the incredible crowd that showed up to support us!!! 🧜‍♀️🎩✨

In honor of the new Lizzy McAlpine album, the derbies did a quick stairwell sing of one of her new songs! Arranged by us, this is “Over Country”!

Are you wondering what the Derbs were up to this summer?

The better question is... what WEREN’T we up too???

Swipe through to see our fun-filled, relaxing, and recharging summer. We are so excited for auditions next week from September 21-23, sign up in our bio! 🤠🤠

This summer, Rohan interned at Bloomberg Philanthropies in New York (where he’s from!), hung out with multiple derbies in the city, and did his best to become a letterboxd and beli warrior 🍱 🧑‍🍳

Isaac travelled around Asia this summer, visiting Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia and Hong Kong, and met so many amazing people along the way! Who even cares about internships when you can just travel? Unfortunately, Isaac does. His LinkedIn is Isaac Kho, if any recruiters happen to be reading this.

After studying abroad last semester, Vivek and his family traveled in Spain. Back in the states, Vivek worked in financial services in the DMV area. He had an exciting summer in DC, watching the world cup games back in his hometown of Seattle, and meeting up with Derbies in New York! At the end of the summer, Vivek and his roommates from Brown (and a couple Derbies!) explored the broader Washington scenery and embarked on a cross country road trip to Brown.

Bruno has been working as a summer camp counselor at a music camp and an intern on a political campaign. In his spare time, he’s been traveling to Montreal, LA, France and Providence to see the Derbies and the even more sunset selfies!

Noam has had quite an eventful summer! After an amazing Senior Week and end of sophomore year with the Derbies, Noam headed straight to Argentina to spend time with family (and eat a LOT of food). Having refreshed his Spanish to an acceptable level, Noam then interned at a non profit serving the New York Latino community. Other summer highlights include: teaching his younger cousins how to ride a bike, hanging out with his sisters, and celebrating his 21st with the Derbies while rooting for Argentina in the Mundial!

Miles spent much of his summer relaxing at home and spending time with family and friends, as well as working as a research coordinator at Stanford. Miles also spent time learning guitar and singing with his dog, by @brownderbies

Meet the Brown Derbies! 🎶

There’s nothing quite like the sound of a cappella on College Hill. The Brown Derbies fill campus with music, energy, and plenty of personality, and along the way, they’ve built a community that’s uniquely their own.

If you’d like to get to know one of the many student groups that make life at Brown so vibrant, the Derbies are holding auditions next week (September 21-23), and can’t wait to hear all of your lovely voices! Click the link in their bio and check out their page to learn more.

We can’t wait to see you there!🎶😏🎩✨ by @brownderbies

As we dust off our pipes before the Fall semester, here’s a track released from the vault!!!

Edelweiss, inspired by @three.in.the.afternoon, is sung here by Miles, Jake, Bruce, and Xavier. Hope you enjoy :)
