Mrs. Kazeem said one thing very clearly:

“Perfectionista, give me my bright colours!” 💗😂

And bright colours she got!

For her 60th birthday portraits, we leaned fully into her bubbly personality with playful shades of pink, soft glam, and looks that celebrate joy, confidence, and a woman who lights up every room she walks into.

60 looks beautiful on Mrs. Kazeem.💙

Vibrant, graceful, and full of life. Every detail of this look was styled to reflect her joyful spirit and love for colour.

Styling women who embrace every season of life with confidence will always be one of my favourite things to do.✨

Happy 60th Birthday, Ma’am. May your days be as radiant as your smile. 💫

To honour Grandma Akinwale’s grace at 70, we chose Sanyan, styled with intention. Its muted, earthy tone—paired with coral jewellery speaks of quiet elegance, dignity, and a heritage deeply rooted in culture.

The silhouette was deliberately fluid, allowing ease and movement, while her gentle pose reflects a life beautifully lived—calm, confident, and complete.

An ode to legacy
For the Akinwale family portrait, we leaned into relaxed silhouettes and breathable linens, allowing ease, movement, and togetherness to lead the story. Soft ivory, warm cream, and gentle earth tones were intentionally layered to create harmony—timeless, understated, and elegant.

The palette speaks of calm strength and continuity - reflections of a family grounded in grace.

Styled with love, for a matriarch who deserves to be celebrated✨

We love a look that dances in the light.
The silk shirt gives just the right balance to those statement flares… perfect for a 70’s themed party, chic enough for dinner and playful enough for a night out.

Styling is not just about clothes, its also about your vibe. And Bukky? She’s definitely main character energy!

Hello!
Calvary greetings! 😎

When we got married twenty years ago, it was common to start letters to Christians with that greeting😁

Even though the fun and joy of life as a Christian has evolved over the years, that period has its unique flavour 😁. #IYKYK

God has been good to us.

By God's leading, we're very honored to have served as counsellors to married and intending couples and parents over the years in HOTR Lagos and briefly in Agape House New Testament Church Accra.

We've come to realize that when people have the right knowledge, it leads them to 'arrange themselves' properly - in a way that facilitates a blessed marriage and home life.

In celebrating God's faithfulness through these 20 years, Teju and I thought to share 10 lessons each, which we have learned and hold dear.

We will be hanging out on Instagram Live by 7pm this Sunday.

Please join us to learn or relearn some truths that you can employ in building a fortified oasis for your own family.

God bless you.

Ps: we really would like this to be a time of fellowship so it is likely we will have a spillover into a zoom session that should hold on Saturday 11th May and a further IG live session on Sunday 12th May. See you there. Invite a friend who you know needs this. God bless you. by @brushstrokesng
