Optimist.
It'll all be okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end yet

This past weekend was the most fun I've had at #dreamstate since attending the first one a decade ago. Everything was perfect. The music, the crowd, the vibes was all right. @dashberlin hit all the nostalgia feels and seeing @tiesto's return to trance and closing with #adagioforstrings was everything I could have ever wanted. The icing on top was spending that moment with all my closest friends. I even randomly ran into a friend who I haven't seen since college. It was a great time #insomniac #trancegiving #tiesto #dashberlin #PLUR #uplit #10yearanniversary #trance by @bryanjuna

Yesterday I competed in the #nabjjf Inland Empire Open. I accidentally registered for the Adults 18 division instead of Masters 30. To say the least, I never felt so old competing against these 18 and twenty something year olds as I approach 35. However, I was still able to bring home a couple of medals in my #nogi divisions. The last slide represents how my body feels today. #everythinghurts by @bryanjuna

The toughest part about competing for me is believing that I am good enough to win. Before competing this weekend, I had a conversation with one of my teammates and he told me that I just need to tell myself that I am a winner. And that is exactly what I did. Yesterday at the #nabjjf Los Angeles open, I've won more matches than I ever have before. I actually made it to the finals in both of my weighted divisions. Unfortunately I didn't take home gold. But it's the small wins that matter. by @bryanjuna

I competed in the #nabjjf #oc open today. I won my first #gi match. Then apparently went to #Valhalla in my next match. My eyes were open the whole time so I didn't even realize I went out. I'm not even mad about it cause it made for a funny video. You win some, you lose some. Thanks @cyndi.bjj for getting the best camera angle.
I also took home bronze for #nogi
Congratulations to the @revbjjmma family for taking home 2nd as a team in nogi and 3rd in gi! by @bryanjuna

Today was a day of firsts. After a year of competing, I finally got my first win. I won my first gold medal. It was my first time getting a submission in a competition match. My team also won first place in #nogi. #progress #perserverance #nabjjf #nogi #gi #bjj #revbjjmma by @bryanjuna

Last weekend, my team completed in the #nabjjf Inland Empire Open. We took home first place in #nogi and third place in #gi. I was able to place in 3 of the 4 divisions I competed in. This was our best performance yet. I'm so proud to be a part of this team. #revbjjmma #bjj by @bryanjuna

I participated in my second bjj tournament yesterday. It was a battle. But also a lot of fun. I ended up placing 3rd in my weight in the no gi division. And my team placed 2nd overall in no gi.
Congratulations to everyone who competed yesterday! #nabjjf #nabjjfnationals #everythinghurts #ciapaulistabjj by @bryanjuna

Sometimes the demons inside my head tell me that I'm not good enough, but small achievements like these remind me that I am on the right path.
Thank you Professor @dozerman and the rest of the @revbjjmma fam for all the help!

I'm looking forward to what's to come this year by @bryanjuna

I attended my third #ABGT. This time it was in my own backyard #losangeles #california . It was just the #grouptherapy that I needed. I was absolutely elated to be there. It was such a great experience.
