In honor of Senior Night tonight, I wanted to make something special to the seniors; so here’s to them!

Dear Dee,
In 2023, when we first started, we immediately clicked. I’m so happy we were in the same section and we were the only girls! There has never been a time where we’ve truly been apart so saying goodbye to you is going to be one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. I’m so grateful to have someone like you in my life to help me keep my head screwed on. I love you, Deanna and I thank you for your commitment to the band and to me!

Dear Tayler,
I met you also in 2023, and rookie year was amazing with you. We didn’t get super close until after that, but I looked up to you long before now. You’ve always been someone who keeps things real but is nothing but loving and positive. Especially this year, I don’t know what I would do without you. When drum major got announced, I was so thrilled to know I would be with one of my best friends. I’m so thankful for you and how you hold me accountable and I love you more than you know, Tayler.

Dear Addison,
A similar situation as with the others, when we started I admired you. I can’t believe how far you’ve come; musically and as a person. There will never be someone else in my life that will live up to you, simply because you’re such a unique and amazing person. You came into my life and became someone I can trust and I’m so grateful for that. Thank you for your dedication to the band and your kindness to me. I love you, Addison!

Dear Seniors,
I know I mentioned a few of you before, and to the rest of you; I simply don’t have enough pictures for a whole slide. Thank you to every single one of you for your dedication to the band and how much you’ve all shaped me into who I am today. I don’t know where I would’ve been if you guys hadn’t welcomed me and let me blossom how I have. I know whe by @bryleegriggs

Another Saturday in the books! We had a BLAST at the Union City Invitational, with family, food, and loads of fun! I have high hopes for the next few competitions to come :) by @bryleegriggs

What a way to start the season! South Gibson’s Hornet Invitational was a super successful night for the Marching Cavaliers as we performed our whole show and got 9th overall! I’m so grateful to be a part of such an amazing program! Thank you to everyone that supported us and we’ll see you again next week at Union City!❤️ by @bryleegriggs

Cav nation was feeling a little patriotic this Friday! Another Friday night down and we had a blast!! Can’t wait for the next one already ;) by @bryleegriggs

Oh, what a weekend! Saying “aloha” (in the goodbye way) to to Ripley on Friday with a win of 62-0 (and a run of our show) to the Pete Evans Showcase in Milan, where we saw friends, family, and had an amazing performance! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us, from the sidelines and on the field! by @bryleegriggs

What’s that sound? Everybody look, the competitions going down! This past Friday, we came back in black to our first football game of the season! Our football team won 68-0, our cheerleaders cheered their hearts out, and our band had our debut performance! Sounds like an amazing year for all Crockett sports :)! by @bryleegriggs

We met the Cavs! This first official appearance of our group was a huge success!! Congratulations to all of our fellow Crockett athletes and a good luck to all!! Cav Nation let’s ride❤️ by @bryleegriggs

Huntingdon Drum Major Camp was so much fun! Tayler and I went, alongside many other schools, to start our journey and refine our conducting skills for this Fall! With the help of the amazing staff and other commanders, we really had an amazing day! Thank you to everyone! by @bryleegriggs

Strawberry Festival Parades were a success!! On Thursday, CCHS and CCMS bands marched in the Junior Floats Parade playing Defying Gravity from Wicked! On the Grand Floats Parade day (Friday), the CCHS Marching Cavaliers played Crazy In Love by Beyoncé! As we performed this, it was the last time with our senior band members and our assistant band director, Ms. Rachel Coleman. Personally, every single senior and especially Ms. Coleman have played a HUGE role in my life these past 2-3 years and I’m forever grateful for all of them! M1 is signing off! by @bryleegriggs

I had a blast at the Solo and Ensemble event at UTM this past Saturday! Our horn quartet (Brylee Griggs, Victor Valdez, Dee Bond, and Izzy Arce) got superior and our trio (Brylee Griggs- horn, Dillon Holden- alto sax, and Grace Goode- bari sax) got excellent! What a great experience!! by @bryleegriggs
