I am SO EXCITED to announce my verbal commitment to the United States Naval Academy! First and foremost I would like the thank the Lord, my Savior Jesus Christ! God’s hand has truly been over my volleyball journey and this opportunity is a testament to His plan! Through volleyball He has showed me to trust His plan, no matter what is in front of me! Next, I want to thank my parents! I am incredibly thankful for there financial and time commitments they have provided! The endless hours of driving and sacrifices they have made for me are unmatched as well as always being there for me no matter what! I don’t know if I can ever repay them for how much they have done for me but I truly appreciate every single one of there sacrifices. Mom and dad I love you so much! Also, I want to thank my volleyball teams and the girls I have gotten to play with especially 16 Maverick. Everyone I have had the opportunity to play with has truly pushed me and takes part in my success! I will never take for granted the support you girls have given me! Also thank you TPV! TPV’s coaching staff and program has truly shaped into a better volleyball player but more importantly a better person! I want to give special thanks to Coach Dan, Coach Shannon, Coach Katie, and Coach Hannah! These Coaches have pushed to be a better player but have supported me through this process/journey! Last but most certainly not least! I want to thank Navy Volleyball. Coach Paco, Coach Hallie, and Coach Laughlin thank you so much for this opportunity! I am so incredibly honored and grateful I am able to attend an amazing school that serves my country while playing for a wonderful program! I am so excited and looking forward for what’s to come! “We didn’t know we were making memories we were just having fun” - Winnie the Pooh 16 Maverick this season has been truly a blessing and an amazing season! Anyone could talk about 16 Mavericks accomplishments and see that we are a successful team but for me the success could not be measured by medal or ranking because that’s not who 16 Maverick is because to get there we had to go through some tough times whether it was injuries, hard teams, or bad practices. Through it all we came together and we were better for it! God’s hand has truly been over this team in ways we couldn’t possibly have expected but through trusting His plan and the process we have made tpv history! I am incredibly proud of the group and extremely grateful for each one of these girls. Cannot wait to see what the future holds for this group of girls both individually and collectively! by @brynnjackson157
