If you love underwater pinnacles, Tokong Laut should definitely be on your bucket list . One of my first loves in Perhentian, where I saw big schooling fishes for the first time, seeing light rays beaming the whole mountain, and the first time I truly felt like I was flying underwater. . We started off deep to 24m, where the thermocline hits 27 degrees. But, eventually we found the school of barracudas circling the sandy bottom! . Then we ascended to 15m, and the mountain “muncul di depanku”. It was like a movie scene where the mountain revealed itself, with marine life flying all around in a hectic, yet orderly manner. . Up to 8m is my favourite- great lighting, corals blooming with colours, and I just couldn’t stop filming. This is where you can clearly see the structure and the textures of the mountain, which is stunning . Man, you guys gotta go and have a look yourselves, words can’t really describe . 📍Tokong Laut, Perhentian Islands 🎥: @dji.malaysia action 4 Lens: @aoi_underwater UWL-03 lens . #scubadiving #malaysiatrulyasia #divemalaysia #amazingterengganu #perhentianisland by @bubblesdc_perhentian

Paradise with a purpose 🐢🌴 Tucked away on a remote corner of the Perhentian Islands, @bubblesturtleconservation has been working since 2004 to protect sea turtles and the marine environment they depend on. From monitoring nesting turtles and safeguarding vulnerable nests to releasing hatchlings and educating visitors, every day contributes to the future of these incredible animals. Since the project began, more than 170,000 hatchlings have been released into the ocean - each one another step towards protecting future sea turtle populations. Whether you’re looking to join as an intern, volunteer, or simply stay as a guest at @bubblesresort you’ll experience far more than just a tropical island. Come for paradise. Leave with a whole new appreciation for the ocean. 💙 #turtleconservation #penyu #perhentianisland #savetheocean #ecotourism by @bubblesdc_perhentian
Because every reef deserves a little extra care. Thank you, divers. by @bubblesdc_perhentian
25th June 2026 : A dead baby black tip shark found stuck in a plastic bag. Why is environmental clean up important? We know how frustrating it is, how endlessly it is, how unappreciated it is... Because we don’t want to regret having this. We appreciate everyone that has helped us in taking care of the environment but the true appreciation and motivation to continue doing so is seeing those free living nature we love live in an environment they deserved. by @bubblesdc_perhentian
A turtle programme with a buoyancy clinic? It’s quite unheard of right? 🤔 . For divers who loves the sea, but still struggle with buoyancy, this is the programme for you! You get to learn to use a camera underwater, and actually know what you are seeing underwater with coral conservation! . Just imagine waking up by the sea, snorkeling with baby sharks, enjoying life with friends you just met, while helping out turtles to preserve their future . Interested? Comment “Bubbles” to get the full programme detail! #scubadiving #malaysiatrulyasia #amazingterengganu #divemalaysia Shot on @dji.malaysia action 4 with @aoi_underwater lens by @bubblesdc_perhentian
