The sound of Egypt 11,000 years ago — rebuilt from the earth up.

The KEMET: YEAR ONE Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is now streaming on all platforms worldwide.

Driven by earth sounds, ancient rhythms and raw organic textures, the score blends the primal sound of the natural world with a modern cinematic infusion—creating a musical identity for an Egypt that existed thousands of years before the pharaohs and pyramids.

Months of research, recording, experimentation and composition went into every minute of the film score. From the smallest natural texture to the largest cinematic movement, every sound was built to serve the world, the emotion and the journey of KEMET.

This isn’t a recreation of ancient Egyptian music.

It is our interpretation of what Egypt 11,000 years ago could feel like through sound.

Ancient rhythm. Earth. Cinema.

In the darkness, we found something already waiting for us.

Raw hyena footage captured during a night location scout for Kemet: Year One—a reminder that the world we entered was never controlled, never predictable, and never truly ours.

Some of the best moments never make it into the film.

As the fire burned and the cameras paused, the cast took a moment to reset before another long night of filming deep in the wilderness.

Every scene. Every detail. Every night.
Built from the ground up.

Kemet: Year One — Coming to cinemas Summer 2026

Behind the ‘Scene’ : Kemet - H2O Water Unit

For one of the film’s most intense sequences, our team had to enter powerful river currents and capture the scene under real, unforgiving conditions.

No controlled tank.
No easy setup.
No room for error.

And only after the cameras started rolling did the danger become even more real—with crocodiles in the surrounding waters.

First, you see what it took behind the scenes.

Then, you see the final scene.

This is how Kemet: Year One was made—raw, practical, and pushed to the limit.

In cinemas Summer 2026. Egypt dates announced soon.

Some films are made.

Kemet was lived.

Across deserts, mountains, fire, darkness, and some of the most unforgiving conditions, our actors and crew gave everything they had to bring this world to life.

Every performance. Every battle. Every scar. Every moment of exhaustion.

The talent was real.
The sacrifice was real.
The world we created was real.

No shortcuts. No easy way out.

Just an extraordinary group of people pushing beyond their limits, united by the belief that we were creating something that had never been seen before.

This reel is a glimpse into that journey.

The faces. The talent. The action. The sacrifice.

Thousands of moments. One unforgettable experience.

This is Kemet.

Behind the scenes of Kemet: Year One 🎬

Where performance meets direction, and every detail matters.

Building a world from another time took more than cameras and costumes. It took trust, collaboration, and a team completely committed to bringing the vision to life.

This is how KEMET was made.

Coming to cinemas Summer 2026.
