If you haven’t been able to get ahold of me. It’s because my life has been work & turkey hunting. Hopefully I’ll bag a nice bird this week🤞

Nothing like chasing those thunderbirds on a cool spring morning. You won’t find any AI slop in the middle of the woods, get off the screen and go outside.

My younger brother sent this to me yesterday. Got his poncho liner set up as a hammock for some R&R while in the field. Simple lessons from years past can be applied to any situation and environment as long as the skills are practiced here & there.

Dad and I spent this past weekend with Jason from @hoboforge_survival learning how to make bows. Was an awesome trip, learned a lot and had a ton of fun. I was glad to finally meet Jason face to face, you won’t meet a better human being.
Even as an instructor it’s important to learn from others within the community. Being able to put ego aside, admit what you know and don’t know, live in the moment & focus on learning from good people is what it’s all about. Jason is the real deal, provides top notch training and has built a great community of what I would consider high caliper men & mentors. If you ever are looking to get training from anyone, Jason would be my top pick and I will recommend him to anyone.
Thank you for an awesome weekend Jason. More photos and videos to come!
