Real talk, I didn’t wake up with this discipline 🫩

The first 2 pics at the start are some visible results of showing up for myself day after day, but keep scrolling... & you’ll see a lil bit about where it started.

Back in Suriname, around 15/16 years old, I hit almost 98 kg🫩
If you know Surinamese food, you know the struggle, it’s delicious, but definitely not the healthiest 🤷🏽‍♀️ but even at my heaviest, I never stopped moving. I’ve always been an athlete at heart, even when my body didn’t look like the “standard” 😘😝

Today, I’m a CrossFit/Hyrox coach & Personal Trainer.
I lift, I fight, I run, and I try to fuel my body like the engine it issss, buuuuut I haven’t forgotten that girl who felt out of place🫩
Training became my moving meditation & the only place my ADHD noise finally shuts off..

I’m not sharing this to sell a workout, I’m sharing this because if a girl like me can rebuild herself from overweight and unhappy to a Hybrid Athlete, you can DEFINITELY too.
Don’t look for a finish line, but try to look for that 1% improvement every single day 🤓!

With love
Yo ADHD Gym Sis🖤

As a coaching team and community, we are so incredibly proud to have guided him along the way and given him the tools to unlock his inner athlete. Thank you for the hard work, the great energy, and the countless hours you’ve put into the box, Vincent!

If you ever wondered what’s going through my head during a heavy session… it’s exactly this audio. Full time coach, working part time here and there, side businesses, running around, doing it all… or at least I’m trying to 🥲

Just a little unfiltered chaos.
Life’s tough, but you are tougher.
Let’s get after it today 😛

This is exactly why I love coaching. Watching people come in nervous, thinking they’re “not fit enough”, and then absolutely surprising themselves 🥹

And trust me…nobody walks in knowing everything. Some people don’t know how to squat yet, some haven’t worked out in years, some are scared to even enter the gym… and that’s okay ✨
We meet you where you’re at 🤝🏽

So if you’ve been thinking about trying HYROX or CrossFit at CrossFit Damacor, this is your sign 😛

Come do a intro class with usssss
