Freimachen, bitte! makes the unnameable playable — the ambivalent experience around the German gynaecological system, its surrounding speechlessness, and the longing to talk about it.

With humour but never losing its serious core, this Critical Table Top explores laws, myths and unequal beginnings, inviting players to draw on their own stories and start a conversation — all while fighting to stay in balance.

Visual counterweight
- The separability is announced in the middle and is framed by almost symmetrical proportions at both ends. The two-wire cable falls slightly but not insignificantly past the body.

Wherever you want
- The bending element at the illuminated end allows you to not only adjust the light while lying down or holding it, but also to prevent it from being laid down arbitrarily.

Soft materiality
- Intended as a silicone casting in combination with the insulated cable, one almost forgets that quite a lot is taking place with this object.

Clamp intuitively
- Although the cable supports the entire object, it is held firmly in place by the optional triple locking mechanism at the head and by wrapping around—and thus stabilizing—the body.

Winding does not interfere,
but rather completes the form
- When wrapped evenly around the arm, the cable fits
between the two raised frame parts thanks to its shape.

A mobile, directional luminaire conceived
for temporary use within domestic spaces.
As a deliberate counterproposal to portable battery-powered lights, the design rejects technical autonomy and instead positions the cable as the central design element.

Triptychon reimagines the traditional three-part panel, translating its structural concept into contemporary furniture design. The piece explores modularity and transformation, taking inspiration from the spatial rhythm of a triptych while shifting it into a functional, sculptural context.

Crafted from red-dyed Valchromat MDF and finished with a violet stain, the bench allows two distinct configurations: flat or with its side panels raised at a 30° angle. A precise tensioning system using Dyneema rope and aluminum tensioners secures the rib-like base, while wedge joints connect the angled legs to the crossbeam. The design is completed with a dove-blue acrylic cushion, adding a soft contrast to the sharp geometry.
