So I heard... 🤎❤💛🤎🧡☕

#Bukola the painter 🎨 ♥ by @bukola_the_painter

I heard femininity as a sound...soft, warm, sensual, and gentle.
A feeling that stayed with me long enough to become colours so I painted the note I heard 🎨 by @bukola_the_painter

📌📍

A double charge line/node of point/set on the sensuous feeling that is 'WARMTH'. 😌

..that let.. that ease that works its way through you and settles behind your eyes while firmly soothing your heart.. yes, that one. Thats the line.

$🎈 Passion …such an insightful emotion; It births so many funny feelings.. It bears so much rhythmically placed chaos that it just makes sense that the bearer’s CRAZY. The love-lust-love-hate-love-confused relationship is, such a dynamic! “I hate it so much i’d never give it up” “I loathe it so much but mind your business and stay out my effing affair!” The thrill of so much hope, supposed patience, antipated desire.. The beautiful annoying chant of ‘just a little more’s’ high.. MAGNIFICENT!! . ¡PASSION! . ..a wonderful thing indeed. - - . A smell/feeling/sound of different ranges of emotions. From frustration to some sort of elation/triumph… Concerts are such a place🤦‍♀️. . The lines were all jumbled up in my head, I have no idea what line or phase I painted to be honest. - - #soundsketches #patterns #akpodasart #gelpens #opticalillusions #thermography #strings #humanbody #penandinkalliance #linesandshapes #lineart #colourformation #blackartist #trippy #abstractart #africanart #akpoda #thepainter #9jaart #africaamazing #visualart #opticalillusions #linedrawing #fractalart #stringart #thermography #symmetricart by @bukola_the_painter$

$📍 _ So sometime in '23, Mr @kayodekasum asked me pe, 'ah Bukola oh, can you do/turn a compilation of songs into a painting?", me Jagaban tio kin slack, I was like "before nko 😎" That's how a 'baby girl and more' got to work o.. I ended up overlaying phases of just 2 songs.. 'Where you dey and My People' ...because, "mah brain whan blow" 🥲lol. There were over 2 voices on each song 😵 ●The phase of both songs painted out is one of the lines of familiarity of the sound.. i.e: One of the phases of electrical charge/pulse that runs through one when one feels familiar enough with the songs. ○ The jotting was cause I was trying to keep on the edge/base of the songs.. You're welcome.. Enjoy. - . - . - . - . - #patternsketches #highlife #chromepainting #yellowpaintings #orangepaintings #sketchpattern #pensketchs #soundsketches #patterns #akpodasart #gelpens #geometricart #mathart #sketchpads #strokesandstrings #opticalillusions #linedrawing #fractalart #sketchart #thermography #patterndesign #patternart #soundandstrings #strings #humanvoice #songs #humanresonance #geometricpatterns by @bukola_the_painter$

Spirituality IS spirituality.

However you choose to refer it.
Witchcraft, religion, traditionalism..

It all is a notion of submitting to a higher being..

Spells. Prayers points. Incantations.
Manifesting-Manifesting-Manifesting.

Different experiences/mindset/tongues morphed into different cultures begot different lifestyles..

It’s all speaks of being confident and intentional about your requests.
- Acceptance of one’s self.
- Realizing and unlearning as one grows
- Kindness to others as much as one’s self
- Accepting that there will always be something you don’t know
- Trust one’s being enough to make sensible decisions.

I can / I will / I do. I BELIEVE. by @bukola_the_painter

___
There once was a man that was not.
He was in love so.. he was in lust.
He desired, craved and in, a being.

A being he was aware was created to be but of his.
A being he in the innate keenness of his existence knew; but not.

A female of the human race.

He wanted her so, that his mind painted one and so many images.
..not so bright, not so nice.
..not so clear, not so fuzzy.
Then came the whisper…

;Whispers of ‘dispairous’ images of that is, was and not likely.
His mind played so much with the knowledge of what he thought he knew to be, that he started to loathe;
Himself, the idea of her; being away, then but close.

#
Now he’s so deep in despise that he can’t stand himself; in extension, HER.
Now she’s appear.
Now he wants nothing of the image of her, yet the lust embedded in him, designed to be fueled by her being, puts his body at odds with his mind…

Oh no! What indeed a battle.

What i was upto for the first 10days of my may 🤓

.

..So the layout is of a being excited telling what they know about the story of Adam and Eve.
The fill in/formation is the general feel of the pub's customer's openness to their time in that space.. I used how sound traveled within the walls of the space as guide.
