Here at the Boston Progressive Jazz Festival we like to only ask the hard-hitting questions. Like, Can Boston truly and earnestly, get down? Like, for science? To test for our question we need a hypothesis, and we're willing to wager yes. And with @circuit.jumper, @bund.band, @mostly__bones, and @kenmoreandwest, the only variable we are missing is you!

Come out to our science experiment at @obrienspubboston on 10/18 at 2pm to aid in groundbreaking research!

Tickets in bio, get them while they're hot!

Circuit Jumper is a Prog/Fusion Groove band drawing influences from a wide variety of sounds including jazz, rock, metal, and electronic
mediums. Consisting primarily of drums and fretless bass, they are driven by the interplay of those two instruments and augmented by synthesizers to create groove laden atmospheres worthy of movement.

BUND is the name of the eclectic Boston-based jazz-funk ensemble led by composer David
Wright that strives to create engaging, accessible, and boundary-pushing music. Drawing
influences from jazz-fusion, MPB, funk, rock, and many other things, the music from BUND
refuses to be put into a clean-cut box.

Hailing from the heart of Boston, Mostly Bones is a powerhouse trombone jazz ensemble
composed of talented alumni from the New England Conservatory of Music.

With a lineup featuring four dynamic trombones and a tightly knit rhythm section, Mostly
Bones masterfully blends classic swinging jazz, high energy fusion, and electrifying rock. Their
innovative sound and vibrant performances create an unforgettable musical experience that
transcends genres and captivates audiences.

KNMR&WST is a Boston based organ trio that features a variety of musicians from around the
New England area. Committed to bringing the most authentic sound possible, KNMR&WST
strives to continue the tradition of the organ trio. With members David Grieff (drums), Sam
Carter (guitar), and Michael Donovan (Hammond organ), one thing is certain: KNMR&WST
brings the funk. by @bund.band

So, get yourself outside and see BUND+ (adding returning alumni @sam_does_jazz and @kilogramsey) and hear a lot of new music we've been cooking up this past summer!

It's going to be really good, I promise :)
