Hester our bassist is in need of financial mutual aid support. This is to cover costs of gender affirming care, healthcare and debts.
Hester is disabled and working where she can to raise funds for these, however she recently came off her motorbike - her means of independence and accessing the outside world as public transport isnāt possible for her. The costs of repairs has left her in debt and she still needs to afford electrolysis and an emergency dental appointment.
Hester also uses her bike to run Dyke Mail, a free mutual aid delivery service for disabled queers.
With [BRICK], Hester has helped raise thousands of pounds for our communities and other causes by playing benefits and we would really like to help her get back on her wheels in return. So weāre organising HestFest, an all day/night event at the Cowley club on 19th September. Please come and open your hearts and wallets to our beloved bassist. by @bunnyhausen](https://scontent-mia3-3.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/789032810_17908079715525881_1995452458580768131_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=107&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=SdLuOrWJ4ckQ7kNvwF8n6pM&_nc_oc=AdowBgEXOnUyV1tVKclGD1vq2uZl5hzpKBGbPgzax8q1uRlyHGsnCreQQlM5tW4CQXvlBsuOJYaeROAtarTETxD2&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-mia3-3.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=URbkmyAlyBjocHWWQTCdUA&_nc_ss=70580&oh=00_AQQNMdPrY34FnTBDJEotVMyT5tUTW8148JV1ylmgGGzjvA&oe=6AF1BCB3)
