Day in the life of an at home baker :) hahaha single mom just paid off her car? Gets a hit and run after an amazing day of baking-that’s life! People may suck but my kids and I are alive and healthy and even after a long day I still came home and baked this bread🥲😂 one week left to place an order before I take a short break, message me to get yours💌 #foryou #sourdoughbread #cottagebaker #dayin by @burrowingowlbakery

My second market for Valentine’s Day💗 sold out of all my bread and cookies and made double the inventory this time around. I’m so proud of myself for taking a risk with this market. Couldn’t have done it without my amazing family, also my friends for showing up and supporting me too!! Feeling so blessed by everyone that purchased from my small at home bakery💌 thank you @vibeandthriveparty for this opportunity! #burrowingowlbakery #farmersmarket #localorganicbread by @burrowingowlbakery

It’s been a year selling my bread! I never thought I’d stick around to a hobby this long (other than reading my silly books), what started as a leap of faith to save money for a new washer for my little family turned into a passion I got to share with my community. Making bread has helped me buy diapers, put food on the table when times were tough and give a heart warming gift at an event/birthday. I’ve helped people learn how to make their own bread and start their own side hustle, just like someone shared and taught me. Because that’s what sourdough is all about, to give a little bit of your starter away and let someone learn how to perfect their own recipe until you start putting sourdough discard in everything haha. I’m not good at a lot of things, but I’ve learned so much in this past year that’s made me great in this. I’m so proud of myself for not giving it up. I went through a lot of hardships last year that made me think I’d give it up for good-but with the help of my amazing family and friends I was able to pick back up again in a time that felt so heavy. To anyone that has ever bought bread from me-thank you! I hope this year I can expand this craft more, but even if not, I’ll always be at home still ready to make you a loaf with love💜 #burrowingowlbakery #microbakery #sourdougbread #organic #localbakery by @burrowingowlbakery

So stoked to have done my first market yesterday at @urban__exchange ! Every vendor there was so sick! I did not anticipate on selling out as fast as I did and I felt soo thankful for every purchase! 3 days of around the clock work really did pay off. I’m so thankful for everyone in my family that helped out and @heyitsbruk pushing me to do this even through a rough time, and giving me this opportunity to prosper in this craft🫶🏽 it was seriously one of the best days ever for me and I learned a lot, cannot wait to see where I go with Bonnie💗 #sourdoughbakery #burrowingowlbakery by @burrowingowlbakery

Prepping for Saturday! I’ve never done this much dough at once. It’s quite humbling lol cannot wait for Saturday!! Happy thanksgiving 🍁🦃 🍞 by @burrowingowlbakery

Organic pumpkin spice loaf 🍞 🎃👻🧈 I made a homemade cinnamon butter filling and I topped it off with maple butter from Traders😋 this is by far my families favorite and will be a yearly staple forsure. Imagine this after thanksgiving dinner too🥹 #octoberfirst #fallishere🍁 by @burrowingowlbakery

Plain loaf that I made on its own instead of my normal 4-6 loaf trios. So this dough got extra love and an extra pretty scoring. It made me sad to see this one go😂❤️ #burrowingowlbakery #homemadesourdough #microbakery by @burrowingowlbakery

It was a good bake day❤️‍🔥 pepperjack cheese, blueberry chocolate chip, cinnamon sugar, then we got a cinnamon sugar sandwich and garlic cheese sandwich. Finished off with some sourdough banana chocolatechip muffins, and I even had some left over for my family at the pool😋🥰 #sourdough #burringowlbakery by @burrowingowlbakery
