Dear 2025, you were so good to me. 🤍
You gave me the chance to step away from work, travel to 10+ countries across 3 continents, and fully immerse myself in new cultures. Along the way, I learned more about the world and about myself than I ever imagined. You truly gave me one of the best years of my life. I’m truly blessed. ❤️☺️

I went a little quiet after coming home because reality hit hard, but I still haven’t shared even half of my travels. 😅There are so many memories, lessons, and stories left to tell.

So for 2026, I promise to show up, share everything, and bring you all along my adventures, travel tips, hacks, and all the things I learned while making it work for 3 months on the road. ✈️This is only the beginning. There is still so much to see and do. 🌍✨

Thank you to everyone who’s followed, supported, and cared about my journey! You truly give this page life. 🥹🥰

If you’re new here: I took 3 months off work to travel to 10+ countries across 3 continents, and I’m here to share what I saw and everything I learned about traveling smarter as a solo traveler. Follow along for travel tips, hacks, and adventures you might not expect.

Sometimes fear holds us back from doing the very thing we need the most! But the truth is, fear doesn’t have to stop us — sometimes, you’ve just got to push through and take that leap!

To be honest — deciding to travel solo for a few months was terrifying (still is sometimes 😅). Even now, every time I land in a new country, I get those jitters… Will my phone work? Will I get lost? Will I not be able to communicate with anyone? What if I lose something? But I’ve learned to welcome the nerves and move forward anyway. 😄😉😅

What’s something you’ve been scared to try? Maybe now’s the time to take that leap — fear and all! 👍🏽

I know yall have been wondering how I managed to take time off work and fund this world tour. ☺️✈️

Here are 3 things I did to make it happen:

1) **Saved for 2 years** 💵- I’ve been putting money aside for this trip so I could treat myself along the way. I also made sure to account for expenses while I’m away since I wouldn’t be receiving an income during this trip. I budgeted about $500-$1000 per country (this was based on how strong the dollar was in each country).

2) **Signed up for credit cards with great sign-up bonuses and travel perks** 💳 - Some cards offer 75k points for just signing up, which is usually enough for a round-trip international flight! I also signed up for a card with lounge access (Capital One Venture X card), so that means free food and drinks before I board my flight!! 🥙🥗

3) **Saved my credit card points** - I saved up all my points and used them for flights and hotels! I’ve covered several flights and stays, including my flight from USA to Australia and a beautiful private villa in Bali! 😃😄

Hope this helps! Follow me for more travel tips and solo female traveler content! 🌎🛫

Traveling is possible for all! You just have to find the loopholes! 😀

Thank you to @j_ace_son for capturing these beautiful shots in my hanbok(traditional Korean clothing) at Gyeongbokgung Palace! I had a great time exploring the Palace and finding all the great hidden spots. Jason is the best! Not only is he a great photographer, but also a good friend! 😃 If you are ever in Korea, hit him up! 📸

When you manage to dodge Bali belly, it’s definitely cause for celebration 😂 (Bali belly = food poisoning, for those who aren’t familiar). So relieved I didn’t get sick while I was there! 👏🏿 Since I knew I’d be traveling for a while, I visited a travel clinic to check which shots and medications I needed. I got the typhoid vaccine, which protects against foodborne illnesses—maybe that helped too?

Here are the top tips my travel clinic shared to avoid food poisoning:
💫Only drink bottled water (even for brushing your teeth)
💫Stick to cooked veggies and fruits you can peel yourself (to avoid contamination from washing with unsafe water)
💫No ice (this one was tough for me to follow, especially on hot days 😅)

Any other tips I’m missing?

One of my unique experiences in Vietnam is exploring their incredible cafes – the pictures and videos don’t do them justice, you have to see it for yourself! 😃 I enjoyed a delicious tea and lunch, with the added bonus of dining with the koi fishes! 🐟 I highly recommend this cafe! And the best part? It’s not crowded, so you can fully soak in the atmosphere.
