POSTS STORIES REELS

We have a new EP to share fresh from @shakyrecords this Friday 🌊 This a collab between producer/label founder Shaky & the talented artist Chris Kyte by @buzzkyteyear

Decades-long holds are more common with wine & whisky than they are with music - but the parallels are the same. If there wasn’t a year on the bottle you’d have few clues to know when it’s from - in this case 2007. A sixteen year old Kyte and seventeen year old Shaky making tracks with our friends in Mom’s basement and sharing it among high school friends via burnt CDs and crusty MP3 players. For nearly 20 years this EP only existed in memories and stories until now - recently rediscovered and remastered. We didn’t know it at the time but what we made was a classic and it’s finally ready for consumption. Can’t think of a better way to kick off Memorial Day weekend than sharing this with everyone. Big luv bruvs.

Chris Kyte - vocals, lyrics
Shaky - vocals, lyrics, production and instrumentation
Eric - vocals
Mikey - guitar solos
Shoutout to D-Ham, Dixon, Dohm, and everyone else that was with us in the Abbey Ln basement

It’s official.

“On God” is out now.
Ruwan G ft. Chris Kyte.

Produced by: @rgsoundsprod
Filmed by: @fla.boys_film

This one wasn’t rushed.
It was built.

Every word intentional.
Every verse earned.
Every late night worth it.

This isn’t just music.
It’s growth.
It’s survival.
It’s elevation.

If you’ve ever been doubted…
If you’ve ever been counted out…
If you’ve had to build in silence…

This one is yours.

Streaming everywhere.

When the setback happened,
some people got quiet.

When the pain stretched longer than expected,
some people assumed.

When everything slowed down,
they thought it was over.

But what felt like isolation
was preparation.

What felt like pressure
was positioning.

I don’t move off opinions anymore.
I move off purpose.

This record isn’t a comeback.

It’s confirmation.

ON GOD.
FEBRUARY 20.

You can fake talent.
You can’t fake faith.

This one is different.
This one is built from survival.
This one is for anyone who kept going when quitting was easier.

“On God” drops February 20th.

They told you your body might fail you
But your faith never did.

ON GOD.

They diagnosed Chris with MS.
They diagnosed me with a spinal tumor.

Same season.
Same pressure.
Different battles.

And instead of folding… we built.

“On God” isn’t just a title.
It’s a declaration.

When we say “that’s on God,” we’re saying:
• we’re still here
• we’re still moving
• we’re still winning
• and nothing that tried to break us worked

This record is faith under pressure.
Pain turned into power.
Two men who had to relearn life… choosing to level up anyway.

If you’ve ever had your back against the wall and kept going…
this one’s for you.

🎧 Drops February 20th.
Presave is live in bio.

Let’s run this up the right way.

That’s on God.

I had to relearn how to walk. I had to relearn how to talk. I had to learn how to chew and swallow. I was told I would need a wheelchair moving forward. I had seizures on the way to physical training, during training, and after training. After almost 2 years of work, I graduated today. They gonna tell you what you can’t do, but show them what you can do. Thank God for forgiveness and transformation. Thank God for everyone who helped and witnessed. I still have a LOOOONNNGGG way to go and I’m still messed up lol but being diagnosed with MS is the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I get to be better for me, you, and us. Be you, be cool, and I’ll see you when I see you yo. by @buzzkyteyear

Some of you know my story and some of you don’t. Some of you know the old me and some of you know the new me. As long as everybody knows I’m better than yesterday then we’re all good. All glory to the most high for walking with me even when I thought I was alone.

Thank you to @wethebelievers for putting me on the team!!! You can purchase this same hoodie or any other clothing through the website (link in THEIR bio). Make sure you put in promo code “KYTE” to cop some savings. Thank you for your time. I love you. I’ll see you soon yo.
