A below average mini painter. I’ve created this account is mostly to track my improvement and see other like minded painters do the same!

Pretty happy with this. Probably going to leave him there before I ruin him!

As there isn’t exactly much painting going on at the moment, I thought I’d share some of the shots of my latest project.
Really special on this (check out my pinned reel for more) and I really enjoyed painting models and schemes I wouldn’t normally attempt.

Here’s a thing… Milanote is really quite handy! by @buzzydoespaintin

I’ve done a little bit of hobby!
This model is from the awesome @warriorprints3d and is incredible! I absolutely love it cannot wait to get some paint on it.
This considerably larger than anything I’ve painted before but should be a really fun challenge! by @buzzydoespaintin

Public Health Announcement!
Take care of your back, otherwise you might end up like me!

Depression is real. It’s an illness. It impacts people in many ways and one of those is stripping their ability to do things. If that is you, this does not change your value as a person.
If you had flu, or Covid, or whatever, would you see a change in your ability to perform tasks as a reflection on your value? No! Of course not! Why would you with depression?
Be kind to yourself.

My finished model for the @travellingmanuk #ageofpainttober

WIP!
Working on my #ageofpainttober entry
It’s been interesting so far! The challenge of a 4 paint pallet (plus black and white) has really pushed me out of comfort zone. Good fun though and I might be making a little Blood Axe group with this skin recipe! 🤔

Painting to clear my head - focusing on getting the boyz battle ready as opposed to anything else - the characters and vehicles can get the special treatment…
I missed a couple of days of my meds, and although I’m back on them I’m still feeling very foggy. Don’t know if it’s a cold or what, but yeah…
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: life isn’t always about beating yesterday. Sometimes you need to accept limitations, do things that help, and just let yourself be. by @buzzydoespaintin

If someone has worked to take your worth, THEY are the problem, not you.
At the core, you ALWAYS had and will have worth.

Our worth is not defined by others. Not by likes or follows or rankings or wins and losses.

Everyone has worth at their core - some people chose to waste it, or try to take worth from others. Don’t be those people!

You are fucking valued!

It’s been 1 year since I started this page…
What a year it’s been!
I’ve met some amazing people, learned a lot, progressed massively in my confidence and technical ability…
I’ve had a tough year with my mental health - it’s not been easy at times, but the connections and friendships I’ve made (new and old!) through the hobby have really helped.
Here’s to another year.
