THE PARTNER EDIT, VOL. 04: @bykikipape Every detail has a story. Kiki is here to tell it. Meet Kiki Pape, Detroit-based author, photographer, writer, and creative storyteller behind By Kiki Pape. Whether she’s behind the camera, creating content, writing, or working alongside a brand, Kiki’s work starts with the same question: what’s the story worth telling? After publishing her children’s book, The Worry Ways, and building her creative business throughout Detroit, Kiki has continued to turn the people, places, details, and ideas around her into stories that make you feel something. For SHE Sourced Detroit, she’s turning her lens on us. Kiki will be capturing the handmade details, personal style, creative energy, and most importantly, the women and stories behind it all. We’re so excited to have By Kiki Pape as a creative partner and to see SHE SOURCED DETROIT through her eyes. October 24 | 1–4 PM

🥱🥱🥱 by @bykikipape
I finished up my journal today before my 24th birthday and I was reflecting on how important journaling is to me. I am able to reflect on different versions of myself and memories I cannot quite always remember all the time. Journaling can be hard sometimes because it can be a piece of you that you aren’t quite ready to look at or it can take a smaller piece of you, a way to remember something big or small. Without journaling, I would have never became an author. If you have the chance, take the time to open up a notebook and let your thoughts go wild, you’ll never know where it might end up! by @bykikipape
