🤭🪡 Meet Sarah! She was apart of her sister’s wedding this summer and needed a few alterations on her looks. Her first dress was not at all what she expected (storytime coming), so we talked through redesign options. Her second dress was a little long, and the straps were also too loose, so we made some adjustments there. Follow along to see the transformations. 🪡: @singernorthamerica 👗: @babyboofashion #sewing #dressalterations by @bysimonea

A jumpsuit will do it EVERYTIME🤩 I colored this one just to get an idea but I can absolutely see this as an option for someone who doesn’t love skirts/dresses or is serving during Easter but still wants to dress up! This is a safe space…so I know I can say I’m still looking for my Easter fit and y’all won’t judge me😂 But after this, I might consider a jumpsuit with maybe a print or a different neckline. I’m tagging a few people that would look beautiful in this… especially while sitting a Falls Church during one of our Easter services!! If you can’t make it to Falls Church, there are several option to experience Easter both online and in-person!! Plan your Easter by visiting @weareunionchurch - See you soon! • • • Keywords: easter fashion, sunday fashion, church outfit inspo, sunday fits, church fits, menswear fashion, womenswear fashion, fashion styling, sketching, fashion illustration #churchoutfits #menswear #fashionillustration #fashionsketching #fashioninspo #sundayinspo #outfitinspo #fashionstyling #unionfallschurch by @bysimonea
Part 2: Where’s the lie though?👀👀👀 Seriously, if you’re looking for outfit inspo, you can stand in the lobby after a UC service and get exactly what you need😂 The fashion at Union Church is the definition of “church clothes - not required”!! I love that everyone comes as they are and is FLY while they do it! If you see someone you know that isn’t tagged, @ them in the comments! And if you know someone who is stylish and belongs in the next video, @ them in the comments and invite them to get fly during one of out Easter services from March 29th - March 31st (I did - and I personally recommend coming to Falls Church in the 31st😉) To plan your Easter, visit @weareunionchurch ‘s website (linked in their bio) • • • Keywords: easter fashion, sunday fashion, church outfit inspo, sunday fits, church fits, menswear fashion, womenswear fashion, fashion styling #churchoutfits #menswear #fashioninspo #sundayinspo #outfitinspo #fashionstyling #unionfallschurch by @bysimonea
Top two, NOT TWO😌 When I tell y’all Union Church never misses! This is a regular Sunday… so imagine Easter🤭 For the next month, I’m giving y’all a close-up on how Union Church brings fashion, community and Jesus all to one place. I’m going to try to capture ALL the fire fits I see at the Falls Church campus leading up to Easter…so if you know someone who bodies every Sunday fit, tag them so I can include them in the next video! Alssoooo, this is your invite to JOIN US!!! Easter is around the corner and we’re saving you a SEAT! You don’t have to wait until then, but if you can’t make it these next few weeks, we’ll see you on March 31st. And yes, I’m definitely capturing Easter fits👀 Share this with your fly friends! If you see someone you know, @ them in the comments or share this with them. Also, if you’re tagged but not in the video, consider this my personal invite to you! Hope to see you on the 31st :) To plan your Easter Sunday, visit @weareunionchurch ‘s website (linked in their bio) • • • Keywords: easter fashion, sunday fashion, church outfit inspo, sunday fits, church fits, menswear fashion, womenswear fashion, fashion styling #churchoutfits #menswear #fashioninspo #sundayinspo #outfitinspo #fashionstyling #unionfallschurch by @bysimonea
Absolutely considering menswear now👀 I had so much fun creating this custom menswear button up last month! The process was daunting but exciting seeing all the details that went into creating this shirt. Takeaways: -Keep interfacing on hand, especially for collars! -Test making buttonholes on practice fabric: I did this since I was using a lighter material and it saved me from messing up the final. -Use your machine to sew your buttons - I don’t think I’ll ever get over discovering that my Singer (along with practically any machine that takes that foot) does this. Congrats again to @joygross14 & @trevgrossjr on your wedding! And thank you Trevon for asking me to create something so cool for your honeymoon! • • • Keywords: sewing machine, singer sewing machine, sewing machine for beginners, sew along, patternmaking, fabric, upcycle, custom sewing orders, menswear fashion, sewing tutorial #sewingmachine #menswear #customdesign #singersewingmachine #singersewing by @bysimonea
Everyone STAY CALM we have GUESTS! While they’re herreeeee let’s get into the first custom order of the season: a men’s button up! The shirt turned out AMAZING but the most important part is: I’m never hand-sewing a button again! Overall 12/10 experience. The final look will be revealed soon along with part one of the next custom order! Thanks again @singernorthamerica! • • • Keywords: sewing machine, singer sewing machine, sewing machine for beginners, sew along, patternmaking, fabric, upcycle, custom sewing orders, slow fashion, sewing tutorial, #sewingmachine #sewing #diy #sewingtutorials #sewingforbeginners #singersewingmachine #singersewing by @bysimonea
Am I a Singer girly now?🤭 Clearing out the drafts with something the clock app saw already buutttt I love this machine. I was just telling a friend this morning that this machine is so much easier to use than my brother (shhh don’t tell her I said that I still love her) and I could see how durable she was by just testing her on a cotton. (@singernorthamerica first your scissors and now this machine… I am absolutely open, ready, and willing to talk sponsorships) UPDATE: Alsssooo since I got this machine and launched customs last week we’ve had FOUR custom orders come in🥳 So basically this is your sign to send yours in if you haven’t 😂 New month means it’s time to get it together so get ready for the November and December content… (we’re 40 away from 1k, I think we can do it 🤭) • • • Keywords: sewing machine, singer sewing machine, sewing machine for beginners, sew along, patternmaking, fabric, upcycle, custom sewing orders, slow fashion, sewing tutorial, #sewingmachine #sewing #diy #sewingtutorials #sewingforbeginners #singersewingmachine #singersewing by @bysimonea
