✨ Preparation and recovery matter more than most people realize ✨

•••For my fellow RMTs:
If you want a long and sustainable career, it’s important to lead by example. We spend our days educating clients on movement, recovery, and self-care—but applying those same principles to our own bodies is just as important. Prioritizing exercise, recovery, and maintenance can make a significant difference in how your body feels and performs throughout your career.

•••For clients:
As an RMT, I can provide treatment, but what you do between appointments plays a major role in your results. Building healthy habits such as regular movement, strength training, stretching, hydration, and recovery helps your body respond better to treatment and maintain progress longer. Massage therapy is a powerful tool, but it’s most effective when combined with consistent self-care.

The work doesn’t start and end on the treatment table; lasting results come from the habits we practice every day. 💪✨

Don’t skip the shave! 🪒

Shaving before your laser appointment allows the laser energy to target the hair follicle beneath the skin instead of the hair above the surface, helping make your treatment safer and more effective.

✨”Why does my neck always feel tight?”✨

One muscle that often gets overlooked is the SCM. This muscle plays an important role in head movement, posture, and breathing.

When it’s carrying too much tension, you may notice headaches, stiffness, restricted movement, or that constant feeling of needing to crack or stretch your neck.

Treating the neck isn’t always about chasing symptoms—it’s about understanding what’s contributing to them in the first place. Sometimes the muscle causing the problem isn’t the one that’s hurting the most.
