I could spend hours here. Tasting, asking questions, listening to the people behind each chocolate and traditional cacao drink. And then tasting some more. 🤎

What I love about gatherings like @cacaoparatodos is getting to meet the people who dedicate their lives to this plant. There is so much knowledge in these conversations, so much care behind what we get to enjoy.

Leaving with a bag full of cacao and a feeling that there is still so much to learn. by @cacaosource

This Thursday we’re gathering again for a cacao circle. 🤎

A simple space to sit together, drink cacao, and check in with ourselves and each other. We’ll share, listen, and let whatever needs to come up have a little room.

No experience needed. Just bring a cup of cacao and come as you are.

🎼✨TEMPLE OF SONGS - ONE SONG A WEEK ✨🎼
Starting a new musical journey, sharing one song every week from my songbook Temple of Songs — a collection of 270 songs from different cultures and traditions, celebrating the joy of singing together!
✨ EPISODE 1 — EMORIÔ 🇧🇷
Composed by Brazilian legends Gilberto Gil and João Donato, Emoriô carries the spirit of Afro-Brazilian music and echoes of Yoruba spirituality. Its name is often interpreted as “I see you” — a beautiful expression of recognition and connection.

Here on the shores of Lake Atitlán, with my dear brother Jojo, founder of Cacao Source, on djembe, and the lovely Sophia, a talented artist we had just met, on shakers — sharing our voices, guitar and rhythms with the volcanoes behind us. 🌋

🌺 AND MORE BEAUTIFUL THINGS ARE COMING!
Jojo and I are joining forces to create gatherings blending ethical ceremonial cacao, collective singing, dancing and live music — here at Lake Atitlán and at festivals across Europe.

Creating spaces where music isn’t just performed, but shared and experienced together.

❤️ One song. Many voices. One heart.

what did I miss? 🤎 #cacao

The colors of cacao. The beauty of opening. The wisdom of nature. 🌱🤎

From deep reds to golden yellows, every cacao pod carries its own expression of life, unique in color, texture, and form.

And when we open the pod, we reveal what has been growing within.

A small reminder that, just like cacao, there is something beautiful waiting beneath the surface. Sometimes, all it takes is the willingness to open.

Opening pods, opening hearts. ❤️ by @cacaosource

Do you have a calling to connect with cacao?

Some journeys start with a question. Ours often starts with a cup of cacao and a feeling you can’t quite name.

We offer two ways to meet cacao at its source in Guatemala:

🌿 The lake · Cacao Source Training · January 23–30, 2027
Seven days at Lake Atitlán. Morning circles with cacao, learning from seed to ceremony, farm days in Suchitepéquez, and a Mayan fire ceremony with wisdom keepers.

🔥 The jungle · Cacao Jungle Immersion · March 5–14, 2027
Ten days on our eco-farm by the Caribbean Sea. Boats to Q’eqchi’ farming communities, roasting on the comal with the women who do it every day, hands in the soil and the fire.

Same heart, different ground. Both end the same way: with new family around the fire.

Lake or jungle? Tell us in the comments which one is calling you.

Not sure yet? Take our seven-question guide or book a call with our team. Link in bio. 🤎 by @cacaosource

Every chocolate bar, ceremonial cup, and sweet moment starts exactly like this. 🌱✨

It’s easy to forget that what we consume takes a massive journey before it ever reaches us. These tiny cacao sprouts are breaking through their seeds, starting a years-long process from seed to tree to pod. Nature working its magic. 🤎 by @cacaosource
