"ren wakes up" from 3 years ago when i was still in college 🥲 been trying to get my art brain together lately for some smaller pieces but it is very hard. sometimes i get sad seeing these pieces because things used to come to me so easily but if you know me you know that i have been going more down the handmade route for the last couple of years 🙃 imposter syndrome has been hitting hard but ultimately in this life you can do whatever you want and nothing actually matters (in a good way) so do everything all the time and learn whatever you can because at the end of the day it's your life and your time on this earth 👻 i miss painting and i have 3 primed panels with nothing on them currently 🥸 by @caciajasmin

🧃 small drawing i started around november when it felt like i was losing control of my emotions and things in my life and then i realized that the whole time, i never really needed to be in control. lately i've kinda been struggling with what it means to "be an artist" to me and how it doesn't exactly align with what they tell you in school. i work a full time job, i have other hobbies, and i'm not at the point yet where i'm ready to go get a masters, like what they tell you in undergrad. honestly, i noticed i was putting too much reliance on acceptance and "exposure" when in reality none of that is important to me. i like being in shows but i feel like there's a fine line between liking it and depending on it. i haven't felt the same about my work or making work since i was in school doing it for 20+ hours a week. i wish i could get that feeling back, but i guess i need to make it come back and kind of let go of everything else. blah blah hope u like it 🤍 by @caciajasmin
