people in love by claire daverley is about love and friendship, second chances and destiny, what it means to heal yourself from external expectations and let yourself carry on with life, when you realize the shortness of it.

guys, this book was great, it wasnt full of thrill but full of yearning and miscommunication and what ifs. I can see why people mention sally rooney when they talk about this book, but I like to say it deserves its own praise. I loved the writing more than I loved the storyline, save to say I grew out of the miscommunication trope.

still, here are my underlined passages that I loved.
