When I tell you I had FUN racing! I’ve actually never seen myself so happy lol. Thank you to @waternoxygen @hyanraines @mileage_junkie for capturing these moments! 🥹 this was a CELEBRATION!! 🎉🩷 by @caitlinmeesuk
Let’s goooo!! My favorite race of the year again and I PR’d by 16 min! This course is so challenging (elevation gain goes crazy!), but I think that’s why I love it. And I got to cross the finish line with my Dad this year 🥰 My main goal was to PR my half-marathon time which (as long as nothing went terribly wrong) I knew I could do because I’m much stronger than I was last year. My stretchhhh goal was sub 2 which tbh I didn’t have faith I could do. Not even AI or my Strava predictions thought I could do it 😂😂 but huge shoutout to Demi @man_what for pacing me!! I don’t think I would have made the 2 hr mark if I didn’t start out with him 🙌🏼 Official chip time was just at 2 hrs and my Strava time was sub 2, but hey, I’ll take it cuz I don’t even think I’d get that close. I’m coming for that official sub 2 in Richmond in a few weeks!! I just know if I can do it in Baltimore, I can do it anywhere 🙌🏼 the grind doesn’t stop here! So much love to all the people who came out and cheered this year!! It really gets us through these races! And special shoutout to my sister @_ashleyaraya who came all the way down to be here, it means sooo much! by @caitlinmeesuk
One of the best things about running on vacation is that you get to see so much more of the place you’re visiting 🥹 from my trip to Portugal 🫶🏻 by @caitlinmeesuk
