Just a reminder I do collect more than just Wizards MJ and modern Soccer 🙋‍♂️ These 3 Precious Metal Gems form the foundation of my PC which is still 99% Michael Jordan cards. Many of you in the hobby know I’ve spent the past 18 months consolidating and curating my MJ card collection into cards like these 3 and maybe 25-30 others of this ilk. Long term I believe in the cards in the slabs more than the labels on the slabs. I’ll always prefer the higher graded better conditioned cards when given the choice but I no longer prioritize a bigger number over a bigger card. I’m not sure if this approach will ever be popular or accepted but honestly not sure I care if it is. 😉 by @cajun_cardboard

More Details coming soon. It’s NEVER too late or too expensive to collect Michael Jordan basketball cards. I put tons of time and energy and thought into this project over the past few years and I hope it can be a tool for new and veteran Jordan card collectors for years to come. 🙏 by @cajun_cardboard

Would you know what you were looking at if you opened a box with 400,000 cards? Bryan Denison of @cajun_cardboard flew to Connecticut with his son to buy a collection. They planned to ship the cards home. They ended up renting an SUV and driving back to Louisiana. Inside that collection was a Michael Jordan Team SkyBox Star Rubies /50. It went on to grade a PSA 8. But the part that stayed with me was the knowledge behind the purchase. Bryan understood what he was buying. That Jordan accounted for around 40% of what he paid for the collection. Buying collections helps supply his eBay Live business. Knowing what to look for, what to pay, and how to evaluate condition makes those purchases possible. The time you spend studying cards changes what you recognize when an opportunity comes. New episode of Passion to Profession out now on the Stacking Slabs Network. Shout out eBay for supporting the pod. . . . . . #thehobby #sportscards #hobbyjobs #michaeljordan #collection by @cajun_cardboard
