Yep that's me! I clipped a rock with my pedal that I've jumped past a hundred times before. That's how it goes in mountain biking... not paying attention to your line and body position can cause catastrophic outcomes.

Fortunately, @mtb_broc was able to swerve and not run me over, but his pedal smacked my goggles and helmet. Bike is ok and I just have a few scratches and a stiff neck. Give me a couple of days and I'll be right back out there.

"F*%K YEAH" was the only way I knew how to express the massive adrenaline rush from clearing FAFO, the 40 ft gap at Area 51. I decided not to bleep out the words because you would not be able to hear the overflowing amount of stoke I had.

Never in my absolutely wildest dreams could I have imagined myself achieving the confidence needed to hit a gap jump of this size. Surprisingly, when I stood on the lip of FAFO for the first time, I just knew I could do it. The amount of time you are in the air is like nothing I've felt before.

Huge 🙏 goes out to Henry, @mtb_broc and @steezzy_danny for helping to build my confidence throughout the day.

None of this would be possible without all the hard work and constant effort by the @mtb_alliance_ crew to dream, build and maintain the best jump line in SoCal! by @caldog73

Last week I did 6 straight riding days at @whistlerbikeprk . Every day I got back to the hotel room mentally and physically exhausted. Riding at a bike park requires you to be hyper focused because of the speed and terrain which drains you mentally and physically.

We were beyond lucky with the weather. Whistler had snowfall late into the season and a daily forecast of showers. This caused many trails to be very wet/muddy and to be closed. The day we arrived in Whistler the weather changed to sun and clear skies for the entire week we were there. Trail conditions were epic and many previously closed trails opened. The evening of our last riding day became overcast with showers and daily showers in the forecast for the foreseeable future.

Our crew of 12 could not have been a better mix of friends and riding ability. With their help I was able to check off nearly every feature, including many of the pro line features. I could not have done it without them and I'll be forever grateful. I'm still in shock that I've achieved this level of riding. My visit to Whistler could not have come at a better time because my skills matched the level of riding available to me at Whistler.

Whistler was everything that you hear about and did not disappoint.

Eternal thanks to @budodave for the epic pics.

I finally made it to Snow Summit. My last visit was September 2024, almost 2 years ago. I was dealing with Tennis Elbow for most of 2025 which severely limited my riding. The elbow is feeling better but still not 100%. When I was on the chair for my first lap, I was feeling really nervous. @mtb_broc gave me a pep talk and said I've been riding long enough that I already knew what to do and just don't overthink it. I did a couple of laps and did not feel great, largely because I haven't been jumping for the past 1.5 years. On lap 3, I just mentally told myself to just flow and if I felt good just trust my skills. Coming out of Muscle Beach i felt good, so I went for it. Everything on West ridge is new for me... The jumps looked huge on my first couple laps. On this third lap, I just followed Albert and let it fly. I'm still on a high from clearing everything. Still can't believe it. I guess jumping is just like riding a bike, it comes back quickly. by @caldog73

WTF, how did this become one of the warmup trails? Lol.

Feels good to feel good on the steeps. Good vibes and so much stoke yesterday! Unfortunately, I still haven't unlocked the Bowling Alley - 0 for 3. by @caldog73

Mountain Biking is a rough sport because no matter how good you are or how careful you try to be, you always end up paying the dirt tax.

Fast and Dusty trails. It’s starting to feel like Park Season!

This old man tried to keep up with grom @stutoe__ but as you can see it did not take him long to drop me. For those of you that don't know what grom means, it's a young enthusiastic skilled mountain biker. by @caldog73

My Little Libero. She pours her heart and soul into the game and works her butt off at practices. It's amazing to watch her flourish.
