The 2019 Antelope Island Fall Classic 50k was my first ever ultra win. It planted a little competitive spark in me and was the first time I thought huh maybe someday I could get decent at this ultra thing.

I’ve been back to the island many times in the years since then and now it feels like a neighborhood block party each time. Camping out with friends and fam last night took this one to the next level, although I might have sacrificed a little performance for it ;)

Big thanks to Finn and Jules @massifrunning and the whole local gang for putting together such great events here in on our favorite Salt Lake trails. Go check out their race calendar and hopefully I’ll see you at one next year!

Also cool that this race happened to be sponsored by @kodiakcakes and @precisionfandh so I knew exactly what I was getting at each aid station and was greeted by hot pancakes at the finish line 🥳

UT100 Elite Announcement: @calebolson123 🇺🇲

Fresh off a 3rd place finish at UTMB (and the third fastest time ever!) on his debut, this American is lining up for the UT100 in November!

Caleb is no stranger to these trails, or to podiums. He came 2nd at the UT100 in 2023, then set a course record at Transgrancanaria and won Western States in 2025. This year his eye on the prize is the overall winnings for the World Trail Majors.

When it comes to technical terrain, Caleb says the more technical, the better. He grew up spending long days in the mountains, from backpacking to mountaineering and now trail running. He’s shown us before that he thrives on technical terrain, and it’s no secret that’s exactly what Table Mountain is known for…

We’re stoked to welcome Caleb back to the Cape Town trails and can’t wait to watch his race unfold.

🗓️Race Weekend: 20 - 22 November 2026.
📺UT100 Youtube Livestream: 21 November from 06h00 SAST

Since UTMB I’ve been doing as close to nothing as I’m capable of. These massive efforts take a big toll and I’ve been really enjoying the down time.

We had the opportunity to be hosted by @evian_resort for a few days at the @hotelroyalevian before heading back to the US and I don’t think I’ve ever recovered better from a race. Between great meals we got in spa time, massages, tennis, and some much needed golf lessons. Maybe the best part was the Kids Resort for Marshall, so Morgan and I could get some peaceful time to relax together.

Heading home to the Wasatch now, already dreaming about coming back next year. taken in Hôtel Royal - Evian Resort by @nike

Left wanting more. There’s nothing else quite like UTMB.

A lot of work went into this day that most people don’t see, thank you to everyone who helped me along the journey. My team is big and they are the best.

CALEB OLSON IS SO BACK!

The 2025 Western States champion declined his M1 bib in 2026 specifically to target this year’s UTMB — a hard decision now completely vindicated.

Battling his way back from injury since the spring, Caleb’s fitness came around just in time to post another massive performance in his still-blossoming career.

Caleb ran the back half of the course masterfully, nearly chasing down Baptiste. In the end, the gap between 2nd and 3rd was only 45 seconds.

18:48:24 for third place — are you kidding me?!

Welcome to the championship of trail racing.

COROS athlete @calebolson123 is making his full Chamonix debut this week, looking to repeat the performance that landed him atop the podium at races like Western States and Transgrancanaria. Caleb's approach to 100 miles of alpine trail running is simple: sustainable effort and smart decision-making early.

We asked Caleb which section of the 100-mile course he's most excited about, swipe to see what he said, plus how the COROS Pace Strategy is aiding his decision-making and pace setting throughout the race.

Best of luck to Caleb and every COROS athlete racing this week! Caleb Olson running on a rugged mountain trail surrounded by lush greenery and distant hills. Wearing a white shirt, black shorts, a COROS watch and bright running shoes, they have "Caleb Olson" written beside them and "Pacing Chamonix" in the background.
