forever grateful for the years, the people, and the memories. 🦅🏐💙🤍

It is crazy to think my time playing volleyball for Holden has actually come to an end. These years have given me so many memories and introduced me to so many people who have made a lasting impact on my life. I am so thankful for all the teammates I have had along the way, the friendships I have made, and all the little moments that made playing for Holden so special. From the laughs at practice and bus rides to the pregame talks and celebrating together, these are the things I know I will look back on and miss the most.

To my family, thank you for always being there, supporting me, and making it possible for me to do what I love. To all of my coaches throughout my school volleyball years, thank you for the time you have put into me, for pushing me to be better, and for teaching me lessons that go beyond the court. I would not be the player or person I am today without the people who have supported me along the way.

Playing for Holden has taught me so much about being a teammate, working through challenges, trusting others, and continuing to show up even when things do not go as planned. Not every season has been the same, but each one has helped me grow and given me something to take with me. I am so grateful I have had the opportunity to represent my school and make these memories with the people around me. While I still have so much volleyball ahead of me, I know playing for Holden will always hold a special place in my heart. I am excited for the next chapter and the opportunity to continue playing in college at Doane University, and I know I will carry the lessons and memories from these years with me. I will always be grateful for these years and the people who made them so special. 🏐🦅 by @callie.irr

I came to Girls State expecting a leadership program. I left with so much more. ❤️🤍💙

This week challenged me, pushed me outside my comfort zone, introduced me to incredible people, and reminded me that leadership is about serving others, not titles.

From campaigning for State Treasurer💸 and giving speeches, to speaking with Martin Luther King III, celebrating my city’s Model City recognition🏆, and making friendships I will always be grateful for, every moment taught me something.💕

I left with a full camera roll📸, lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and an even greater appreciation for what it means to lead, serve, and be an American citizen. Thank you, Missouri Girls State, for a week I will never forget.🇺🇸 by @callie.irr
