If you're thinking of getting into drifting, this is your nudge to get started 🤍

The key to getting started? Stop thinking about it and start.

You don’t need big power or 'everything you'll ever need' to start — you just need seat time, consistency, and a car that does the basics well.

Learn on ✨️simple✨️ setups first. Once you understand weight transfer, throttle control, and correction, then upgrades actually make sense (and you'll enjoy them and appreciate them more).

You don't need to spend thousands on your first drift car - the shabbier the better in a way (you'll care less about it and learn faster).

Tyre pressures alone can change your whole day — play with them before spending money on fancy mods 🫶🏼

📌Save this for your first drift day or send it to someone who’s thinking about starting

Overthinking is just a very sophisticated way of doing nothing.

If you've been thinking about learning to drift for years, this one is for you 😘🫶🏼

Most early progress comes from space and repetition — not pressure.

Learn first. Make it nice once progress is consistent.

My first @driftmatsuri as a driver did not disappoint 🖤 what a weekend

Massive thank you to

@luciee_easton @drifting.chlo from @ladiesthatdrift and @ricsta_eg for getting me videos of the v8, these have made the drift hangover so much more tolerable and I've rewatched them an unhealthy amount 💕

and to @markw_e36 for his hospitality, always a pleasure ❤️🫡

And last but definitely not least to @poole_slide for building me a beast that is such a pleasure to drive, for keeping me alive in what can only be described as biblical weather and being my human hot water bottle, for being the best pit crew a girl could dream of and generally just encouraging me to drive harder and not be afraid of fourth gear.

I'll be honest I was a bit dubious when you convinced me to spend 800 quid on getting my diff rebuilt but OH BOY, what a difference.

You know your shit RP and I cannot fault you, the car feels so much more driveable now and I'm already dying to drive it again 🫶🏼

Is it spring yet? 🤙🏼 by @callme_nigel

The sign of a good weekend 😉

DRIFT CARS ARE FOR DRIFTING ✌🏼

A little palette cleanser for your feed 💛

Life can be really bloody good and still have some shit bits.

I walked away from the career I spent years working towards, but found a job I genuinely love.

I didn't get to compete this year, but I got to be fully present supporting someone I love while they did.

I lost my dog, but he taught me just how much I'm capable of loving 💙🩵

When it's feeling rough, I've been reminding myself that perspective is everything and that actually, just over a year ago I was unemployed and would have killed to just drive a v8, let alone own one.

And a Huxley bodykit as well?!?!

Get a grip girl. Life's good.

People think drifting is impossible to get into without spending a fortune.

That assumption stops a lot of people before they even try, but the reality might surprise you!

If you’ve ever thought drifting was out of reach… this one’s for you 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Tag someone who keeps saying they’ll start “one day” and check part 2 for the rest of the info 🙌🏽
