Swipe To See 13 Months of Gym, Zepbound, and a LOT of Habit Changing
260lbs —> 180lbs
Last year, I saw the calendar telling me I was quickly turning 30. I knew I was at my lifetime peak weight, I didn’t feel strong, and I didn’t feel healthy. I had made tremendous progress improving my mental health and knew, to feel my best, it was time to address what I had been ignoring.
Today, I don’t care so much about the number on the scale, but more about the numbers on the weights I’m lifting. I feel, easily, healthier than I have since High School.
Don’t be afraid to use the tools modern medicine has given us to push yourself! My biggest advice is to not let the medicine work alone. Eating less is not the single decision to make. Eat WELL and exercise. Change small habits and do all of these things at your own pace. I started losing weight in June ‘25 but hit the gym in October because it felt both like a natural next step and like my own idea. Stay consistent and do what you are ready to do. I believe the fastest way to fail at a new habit is to start it when you know you are not ready or are not totally bought into it. Don’t be afraid to take it slow. by @cammm_2018
