In the last month we’ve had multiple requests for sleeping bags. This isn’t normal. Usually after the summer camping season, gear requests come to a screeching halt but we’re in October…and requests are still coming in. Not just from individuals but organizations reaching out because a Mom or a Mom and her child are sleeping in their car. Yes, we’re happily giving away sleeping bags and the number we had on hand are dwindling. So if you need one or know someone who does don’t hesitate to reach out but also…

We never openly ask for gear and this is new territory for us but if you have a sleeping bag you may be willing to part with that’s in good condition - hit us. We may need more for people in our community.

Happy to give you a deal on your drink or a bag of beans for your generosity. And glad to be a resource that goes beyond a cup of coffee…help us help the people. Please share if ya can.

Let’s start some activity groups. You lead. We support. by @campfireexplorersclub

Sometimes all you need is the right beverage and the right book to go from dreaming of the outdoors to being in the outdoors. The flame will forever be yours to hold if you choose it.
