Pure bliss. That’s the best way to describe today. And blessed to be part of it all. #wearefamily❤️ #happilyeverafter by @camptibbits
What a beautiful beginning of the celebrations. Happy PNW family time. Countdown to a sweet celebration for our Dev and Kate. Happy old folks being happy old folks. #coupeville #practicalmagic #lovejoy by @camptibbits
Okay. Pinch me. I really had no idea our next trip to Whidbey would be to watch this little guy get married. We are so beyond excited for him and his sweet Kate. From five to thirty five goes by just like that. Happy old MannyFifi/Nan and PoppaTim are so excited . #blessed #grandparentslove❤️️😘😍❣️ #lifeisgood by @camptibbits
Day Three of no power here. SCE shut it down to err on the side of caution due to anticipated high winds. For a couple of old folks, we’re managing pretty darn well. Last night Tim asked about my camping days growing up. Pismo with our dune buggies, the middle of nowhere in the desert, San Felipe every year between Christmas and the New Year. He asked about taking showers, cooking, etc. I laughed. Showers? 😆. My family has some classic stories. Dinty Moore stew with sand for dinners, bologna and cheese sandwiches for lunch. “Eat it”. But the best was how Fifi would just plop herself down to bask in the sun and told us to go find something to do. Those were the days.#oldschool#pismobeach# by @camptibbits
No rain. But woke up to this glorious 🌈. Happy Monday. Keep looking up. #rainbow by @camptibbits
Our Devin is getting married to his most wonderful sweet Kate. We are so excited and looking forward to celebrating with them and their folks in a few weeks. I have to keep pinching myself. Our little Devin is all grown up (well, sorta 😉.). #celebrate # by @camptibbits
Koji requested a beach day so of course we complied. We’re thinking she actually had an ulterior motive. Flat out refused to get in the car to go home. Had to have lunch at her favorite restaurant @harborcovecafe. Really can’t blame her. Perfect day for a Ventura beach lunch. #sandypaws#beachbum #lifesruff #breathe by @camptibbits
Thank you for the sunsets and the beautiful moments. Last one of my 72nd year at this most special place and looking forward to many more moments just like this. #sunsets #herestotheyears #blessed by @camptibbits
This beautiful book has been on my list for a while now. I feel like I picked it up exactly when I needed to read it. The peace I felt throughout the story right up to the very last sentence will stay with me for a very long time. To be able to read it in our own little corner of the natural world was an added bonus. We can love and let go and let nature take its course. #raisinghare #wildwildworld by @camptibbits
If I could choose one artist to play the soundtrack of my life, hands down John Prine. Miss him so damn much. Somehow he made this world make sense with his words and melodies. #johnprine #musicforthesoul #inspiteofourselves by @camptibbits
9 months old, 9 pounds , on 9/9/14, this little force of nature came into our lives and changed us all for the better. Our Koji Esperanza Badass Chica Sweet Potato is the best boss and bff ever. #chihuahasofinstagram #shibachihuahua #blessedwiththebest❤️ by @camptibbits
“When you consider things like the stars, our affairs don’t seem to matter very much, do they?” - Virginia Woolf. Made a few new collage cards to remind myself of how very true this is. If you’d like a little inspiration, let me know and I’ll send a card your way. #tothemoonandback❤️ #handmadewithlove #collage #starsinthesky by @camptibbits
