Incredibly excited to announce that You’re On Your Own Now has been awarded BEST OF THE FEST at The Dunwich Horror Fest! It’s an incredible honor to have our short film recognized alongside so many talented filmmakers, who made great features and shorts. To be given such a high honor in a festival of so much talent means more than I can put into words. It is especially meaningful to see this story connecting with the horror community. A huge thank you to the festival, and to the wonderful cast and crew who helped bring this strange little idea to life. 🖤 🎃 Director / DP / Producer: ⭐️ Starring: @michael_policci @shawnivincent @videopanda711 @madalen_z @anselavey_ @nat.hanania 1st AD:  @bpalluck10 2nd AD/BTS: @joshoheafilms Production Designer: @locosmarties11 Art Assists:  @matthew_ahearne @nickjanaye @cecaniamelodyburkel @lucirodgerson 1st AC: @jayistehbest Sound:  @mylestravitz Gaffer: @paul.moldenhauer Key Grip: @cchild88 Grips:  @streiffbrady @yesimthataidan PA / Extra: @mimilllle PA:  @heberts_just_vibin Extras: @zryan189 @byrachelshunt @robby_hunt_ @ryanyazzen @krzykidremi @mazzyxellis @streiffbrady Crafty:  @craftytravvy by @camtravvy

You’re on Your Own Now (2026) A month and a half ago, I wrote an analog horror script for fun. Three weeks ago, I saw news of a short film contest from one of my favorite horror YouTubers and thought, screw it, why not. Last week, we filmed it. It was a bit of a mad dash, and I wore a lot of hats as a result. But somehow, we filmed 12 pages in under 10 hours with no major hiccups, all because of an amazing cast and crew who believed in my weird little idea and helped bring it to life. Making something like this has been a goal of mine for a long time. Personal struggles and ADHD quirks got in the way of actually doing it for years. But after putting in the work to overcome a lot of that this year, it was finally within reach. I finally was in a place where I could make a change. Try the hard thing. Push myself. I have a horror film that I directed and shot. No matter where it goes from here, I’ll always be proud to call it mine. And it will not be the last. I couldn’t have done it without the amazing cast and crew, new friends and old, some of which who even drove from LA solely to bring it to life. Stuffed meatloaf with a red wine tomato sauce because meatloaf deserves better than ketchup slop. Beef + pork meatloaf stuffed with mushrooms, spinach, mozzarella, and parmesan, then finished with a silky shallot red wine sauce. Ingredients: * 1 lb ground beef * 1 lb ground pork * 1 cup panko * 1/2 cup milk * 1 onion * 3 garlic cloves * 2 eggs * parmesan * Worcestershire * Dijon * parsley * mushrooms * spinach * mozzarella or fontina Sauce: * shallot * garlic * tomato paste * red wine * crushed tomatoes * thyme * Worcestershire * Finish with cold butter Bake at 375 for about an hour and 15 minutes and until the center hits 160. Let it rest 10 minutes before slicing. #Meatloaf #cooking #homechef #comfortfoods #chef by @camtravvy
My love for cooking is definitely not a secret, and lately I’ve been thinking about how I can bring that passion into the film set world as well. I’m ready to feed some soldiers of production and take some pressure off producers, PAs, and ADs by running the most important department on set (sorry camera and lighting). So I’m officially making myself available for crafty/craft services work on set, handling as well as hopefully expanding the usual crafty spread while also bringing my homemade cooking to productions that you don’t see on the usual sad crafty displays. A few ideas of my own cooking I’m toying with: • Fresh baked breads • Bruschetta • Slider Bites • Baked sweets, cookies, brownies, etc • Tiramisu • Homemade salsa and dips • Freshly squeezed orange juice • Rotating seasonal snacks and treats • Fresh Soup! • Coffee, lots of it I’d love to help create a crafty spread that feels a little more thoughtful, international, fresh, and memorable for cast and crew. And no I’m not foregoing junk food, we all need a little of that to heal our inner childs. The spread pictures are a work in progress, excited to see what the end result will look like. What crafty do you want to see on sets that you never find? Comment below for suggestions! by @camtravvy
2025: What is there to say? I am not one to stand on a soapbox, but this year was something special. It was a year of progress, rebuilding, and healing. Healing was a big and important journey. It was hard at first, but I’ve overcome a lot and rebuilt myself. Which led to the most career growth I’ve ever had. To my partner, Kade, thank you for being my constant in a world that never seemed to slow down. To my friends on set and off, thank you. The quick jokes, the simple question of how my day was going, those moments mattered more than you know. Looking forward to creating with all of you next year. This year taught me that progress is not a dramatic sunrise where everything is instantly fixed. It happens quietly, in silence, in the random moment when you realize you have had fewer anxious thoughts. It’s in realizing you’re on day 29 of a 30 day shoot and you haven’t died… yet. It is in trusting my own decisions. It is in finally justifying that spontaneous trip or that new piece of gear. It is in finally starting that cooking TikTok and sharing your treats. In 2026, I want to travel more. I want to see more. I want to create more. I want to finally start the thing I keep saying I will do one day 🧛‍♂️🎥. And I also learned how to fight this year. 🥊 That turned out to be metaphorical and literal. Here is to the next page. by @camtravvy
Started mapping lenses for my new Teradek RT CTRL. 3 . Mapped the CP2s on the Alexa 35. Shout out to @jordanpillar @elliotmartinmedia and @yovsev at @arizonacamerarentals being awesome help and allowing me to get it dialed in. CineGear 2025: reunited with great friends, got competitive about suction cups and lens swaps, and still didn’t win a raffle. But hey, the real prize was the gear envy we made along the way. Quick trip to Seattle to visit @the_dinja. Manned a spaceship, hiked a 300+ foot waterfall, ate killer seafood and accidentally stumbled on a 10,000 plus person protest. So the full Seattle experience basically. by @camtravvy
Some 35mm stills of Watson Lake in Prescott last week. You’ll see a lot more film photography here! Shot on Olympus om10 with Kodak Gold 200 by @camtravvy
