Fifty years of @dvs_lanc. One incredible community behind the work. And one unforgettable evening to honor it all. ✨   Our 50th Anniversary Gala brought together the people who make this work possible for a night filled with music, art, connection, and community.   From the Jazz City tasting tables by @_taste_and_toast, to the incredible live art by @keishafinnie and @kingprolifik, spoken word by @poeticsoulqueen, a live jazz trio @rb_entertainmentllc, and an exciting live auction, every part of the evening reflected the creativity, generosity, and spirit of this community. To everyone who attended, contributed, performed, sponsored, volunteered, and helped bring this evening to life: thank you.   For 50 years, DVS has been strengthened by the people who stand alongside us. We are grateful to cherish this community, honor the legacy built together, and carry this critical work forward. by @cap_lanc
A little fun behind the scenes from a very special evening. Our @dvs_lanc team got a moment to let their hair down and let the beat drop 💜 Thank you to everyone who joined us as we honored 50 years of Domestic Violence Services of Lancaster County. It was an evening rooted in reflection, gratitude, and cherishing the community that makes this work possible. For five decades, DVS has been here for survivors, families, and our neighbors. We are grateful for everyone who has been part of that work — and for those who continue to carry it forward. 50 years of impact. A community worth honoring. Thank you for being part of it. by @cap_lanc
As we prepare for tonight’s DVS 50th Anniversary Gala, we’re reflecting on the people who helped shape CAP and the legacy of care they leave behind. Jeff Wibberly dedicated more than 39 years to CAP, helping grow our programs like @dvs_lanc and strengthen services for families across our community. And, of course, we can’t forget his creative coaster doodles — little pieces of art that offer a glimpse into the personality and passion behind his work! by @cap_lanc

Use your voice. Vote! On November 3rd, every Pennsylvanian who is registered has a say, no matter their age, background, or views. Voting is how we help decide who represents us, and it’s how our communities speak for themselves.    Have questions? Need help? Call the Lancaster County Elections Office at 717-299-8293 or visit the link in the comments. by @cap_lanc
As part of CAP’s 60th anniversary celebration, we sat down with Sam Bressi to chat about 60 years of CAP’s impact in the community, and asked him a meaningful question: What song describes CAP’s 60-year journey?   His choice? “Redemption Song” by Bob Marley. ❤️   Music has a way of capturing the hope, resilience, and possibility that words alone sometimes can’t. For 60 years, CAP has worked alongside our community to empower people, open doors, and create opportunities for a brighter future.   Hear from Sam as he shares why he chose this song to represent CAP’s legacy.
