Have a safe weekend from the witches at Capitol Optometry 🎃🔮 by @capitoloptometry

Ozzy Osbourne’s signature sunglasses were almost as defining as his music. His round frames, adopted in the 90s, became a pillar of Ozzy’s iconic uniform. Before his death in July 2025, the Prince of Darkness teamed up with Garrett Leight California Optical (GLCO) to give fans a premium collection of classic Ozzy-style sunglasses.

Because the collection was created in close collaboration with Osbourne before his death on July 22, it has since shifted to be a fitting tribute to the Black Sabbath frontman.

"This collection is our way of celebrating a true legend who defined what it means to live authentically. Cheers to the Prince of Darkness," says Leight. "May his legacy live on for eternity."

💔 A tough start to the day at Capitol Optometry Downtown.

Our front door was smashed overnight. Thankfully, nothing was stolen and, most importantly, no one was hurt. But for a small, locally owned business, an incident like this is still a huge burden. Another unexpected expense, another thing to clean up, and another reminder of how much small businesses have to navigate behind the scenes.

But we’re choosing to focus on the good. ❤️

We’re incredibly grateful for our amazing patients, our team, and the Sacramento community that continues to support local businesses like ours. Every appointment, pair of glasses, referral, and kind review means more than you know.

We love being part of Downtown Sacramento and serving the people who live, work, and build their lives here. We’re not going anywhere. 👓✨

So today, we’re replacing the glass, opening our doors, and getting back to what we love, taking care of our patients.

And if you’re looking for a way to support a small business this week, consider shopping local, leaving a review, sharing a post, or simply telling someone about a business you love.

Small businesses are built on community. And we’re so grateful for ours. 💙

Cloudy skies don’t mean UV rays take the day off. ☁️🕶️

Up to 80% of UV radiation can still reach your eyes through the clouds, increasing your risk of cataracts, macular degeneration, and other eye conditions over time.

Sunglasses aren’t just for sunny days, they’re everyday eye protection. Protect your vision today so you can enjoy every view tomorrow. Use the link in bio to book your exam today!
