POSTS STORIES REELS

Some sessions stay with you long after you've packed away your camera.

Recently, I had the privilege of photographing someone through my work with Phoenix WoMen's Aid.

It reminded me that not everyone gets the chance to step in front of the camera.

Not everyone has photographs that make them feel seen.

That session inspired me to create something I've decided to call Given, by Morii.

Every two months, I'll gift a complimentary photography session to someone navigating a difficult time.

Whether that's loss, medical challenges, life-changing circumstances, financial hardship, rebuilding after a difficult chapter, adjusting to a new normal, or simply carrying more than most people realise.

If someone comes to mind, or if you feel your own family could benefit from a Given, by morii session, comment the word GIVEN below and I'll send you a private link to nominate yourself or a loved one.

Every nomination will be read personally and considered with care 🤍

Love Jodi xx

🤍 Welcome to Morii’s New Home 🤍

I am now settled into a new studio at Manor Farm, Oldcotes.

Whilst the new studio is smaller than my previous space, it feels so much more cosy and intimate. It’s become a beautiful little space where families can relax, slow down, and enjoy their session in a calm and welcoming environment.

One of the things I love most about being here is the community. Manor Farm is home to a wonderful collection of independent businesses, making it the perfect place to turn your photoshoot into a lovely morning or afternoon out.

You’ll find:

☕ A café serving delicious food, coffee and cakes
🍦 An ice cream parlour for sunny days
🛝 Outdoor seating/playground for little ones
🐾 Dog grooming
💆‍♀️ Beauty treatments and holistic therapies
🌸 Handcrafted Florals & Décor
🛍️ Gift shop and ladies’ boutique
🧵 Haberdashery
🧘 Pilates classes
👶 Mum and baby fitness classes
🎉 Regular events throughout the year
🦚 Not forgetting the beautiful peacocks (that seem to be following my photography journey!)

It’s such a special little place, and I’m incredibly grateful to now call it home.

Whether you’re visiting for a newborn session, family photos, a milestone shoot, or simply popping by one of the other businesses on site, I hope you’ll love Manor Farm as much as I do.

I’d love to welcome you to the studio soon 🤍

Just when I didn’t think I could love Halloween any more… 🎃👻

Thank you to Jodi at @capturedbymorii for taking these absolutely precious photos 🖤

My favourite little face 🤘🏻 by @capturedbymorii

Two months old, wearing nothing but a nappy and a little bat hat. 🦇🥹🤍

I love seasonal minis..they're the perfect excuse to get some cute, up-to-date photos of your little ones without committing to a full photoshoot.

And that's why I like to keep my seasonal set-ups simple. No huge, busy backdrops or endless props. Just a little nod to the season, with the focus still very much on your little ones.

Had so much fun with these cuties 🧡

This is what a baby-led newborn session looks like. 🤍

We wait. We feed. We change nappies. We shush, rock, settle and cuddle… and sometimes we do it all over again, and a few more times. 🤭

There is absolutely no rush.

Your baby doesn’t need to arrive sleepy. They don’t need to stay asleep. They don’t need to be happy being put down, and they definitely don’t need to behave in any particular way.

If they’re hungry, we feed them.
If they need changing, we change them.
If they only want Mum or Dad, they cuddle.
If they need a little longer to settle, we wait.

And somewhere amongst all of that, I capture them exactly as they are and all the hits in between.

Because all of this is the newborn stage. The feeds, the cuddles, the shushing, the tiny stretches, the sleepy faces and the moments where all they need is you.

That’s why I allow plenty of time for newborn sessions. Nothing is interrupting the photoshoot, it is the photoshoot. 🤍

Relaxed, unhurried and completely baby-led.

Filmed by the incredibly talented Laura at @the_lb_edit 🤩

Evidently it's not too early to get excited for Christmas....

No huge sets or distractions here for my Christmas Mini's. Just a little festive warmth and the focus on your little ones.

Look at this gorgeous mummy that came to model for us at @linzierussophoto workshop 😍

Something slightly different to what I’m used to doing with this lavish dress and a little posing, but I loved it.
