🐭👑 A royal little duo! 👑🐭

The last two animals are finished and on their way to the Isle of Wight for my aunt’s charity craft sale.

Meet Prince and Princess Mouse! 💗✨

Aren’t these designs from @pixie_willow.patterns just beautiful? I’ve loved making these two, especially all the pretty little details.

I hope they find a lovely new home and help raise lots of money for a wonderful cause. ❤️

✨ Life has definitely got in the way of sewing lately, but I’ve finally finished my @merchantandmills #DenhamJacket from the @fabricgodmother #DreamWardrobe! 🧵✂️

I also made the #AudreyHood to go with it, and I absolutely LOVE the finished look! 😍❤️ Another gorgeous addition to my handmade wardrobe.

Very glad of my button foot for this one… those buttonholes are so much easier when you’ve got the right tools! 🙌🪡

Now, if only life would slow down a little so I could get back to doing more of what I love… 💕✂️

🇦🇺❤️🏴 A little Welsh gift for our Aussie friends!

We recently met up with our lovely friends from Australia while they were over in the UK, so I wanted to make them something with a little piece of Wales in it. 🥰

I made this makeup bag using some gorgeous Welsh tapestry fabric from @fabrikate1fabrics — I think it makes the perfect little Welsh souvenir! 🏴❤️

I followed the video tutorial from sewing with solans which was so easy to follow and I’m really pleased with how it turned out. 🧵✨

Now I just need to decide what else I can make with my Welsh tapestry! 😍

🐧❤️ This week’s animal for my aunt’s charity sale! ❤️🐧

Meet this cute little penguin from @swpea.machineembroiderydesigns 🐧✨ I think he’s looking rather smart in his festive red jumper!

My aunt holds a Christmas craft fayre every year to raise money for charity, and there are lots more animals to come… 🦁🦡🐰🐻🦊

I’m having so much fun making this year’s animal collection! ❤️

Thanks so much to everyone who shared your ideas for what I should make with my @fabricgodmother fabric! ❤️

@emmsy.sews had the brilliant idea of the @vikisews Sati skirt, so I decided to give it a go. First, I made a practice version in some satin from my stash — and I loved it! 😍

So, of course, I then had to make the real thing… and I’m SO pleased with how it turned out! ❤️🌹

I absolutely love the shape, the swish and how the roses look on the skirt. Definitely the right pattern for this fabric! 🥰

Thank you for helping me decide! ✂️❤️

My aunt always does a Christmas craft fayre for charity 🎄❤️

The last couple of years have been all about elves, but this year she’s decided it’s time for some festive animals! 🐾🎄

I absolutely LOVE these two from @pixie_willow.patterns 😍

Badger is looking very smart in his Christmas waistcoat 🎅🏻🤎 and I think Lion just needs a little scarf to make him look a bit more Christmassy 🦁🧣

And this is just the beginning… lots more animals to come! 🐻🦊🐰🦌🐭🐧🐑🐾 I can’t wait to see the whole festive animal gang together! ❤️🎄

🌹 beautiful fabric and NO idea what to make! 🌹

I couldn’t resist this gorgeous fabric from @fabricgodmother - it’s a Viscose ECOVERO Satin which has been in my stash for a while but now I’m stuck!

I’ve got 1.5 metres and absolutely no idea what to turn it into! 🤦‍♀️

So I need your help… what would YOU make? 👇

Top? Skirt? Something completely different?

Come on sewing friends, put your thinking caps on! ✂️😂🌹

🎄 Sorry if it’s a little early for the C word… but I couldn’t resist! 😂❤️

Our friends from Australia are coming over to the UK at the end of the month, and we’re meeting them in London 🇬🇧✨ So, obviously, I needed some London-themed Christmas decorations!

I made these gorgeous little London icons from @pixie_willow.patterns and turned them into festive tree decorations. 👑☎️🚌🎄

I absolutely love how they’ve turned out — a little bit of London, a little bit of Christmas and lots of sewing joy! ❤️

First make in my new sewing space… and I think I’m officially in love! 🥰🧵💕

Meet my @stylearc #brontedress Made in this gorgeous pink and red viscose I bought from the lovely girls at @imperfectlyperfectbyfna . 🌸❤️

And can we talk about the fit?! 😍 I absolutely love it. Comfy, flattering and just the sort of dress I know I’ll reach for again and again.

There’s something rather satisfying about having everything set up and ready to go — overlocker, sewing machine AND my little mini ironing board all in one space. 🙌🏻

Now the big question… what am I making next?! ✂️💗

And just like that, my daughter has headed off to London for 18 months, so I’m borrowing her bedroom to create a little sewing space. 🧵✨

The clothes rail is out and the sewing machines have moved in! 😂

I’ve now got a lovely little setup in the bay window, with my machines, fabric storage and a space to get creative. I’m still tweaking things, but I’m loving having somewhere slightly bigger to sew. 🥰

The important thing was making sure it still felt like her room when she comes home to stay. Her bed is staying, and I’m trying to keep it feeling like a bedroom rather than a full-on sewing studio.

It’s a bit of a work in progress, but I’m so excited to see how it comes together! 💕

What do you think of my new sewing space? 🧵
