There a few certain things in life: death, taxes, and Mariah Carey being defrosted on November 1st. However, this year’s ‘It’s Time’ goes way beyond a simple brand partnership with Sol De Janeiro, but it’s teasing us for something bigger: the release of her secret 1995 grunge album. Will 2027 be the right year? I post daily marketing and culture content, follow @carlotalksadv for more #mariahcarey #itstime #alliwantforchristmasisyou #mariahcareychristmas #grunge by @carlotalksadv
Good morning on my way to WTM at the excel with some pearls from @southernrailuk @mojudrinks @amazon If you also rate the ads that you see in the wild, follow me for daily ads ratings and marketing secrets. #advertisingtips #copywritingtips #ratings #billboards #posters by @carlotalksadv
On my way to WTM, I’ve seen some pretty stuff and some bad one, sadly, as usual. I love the @vinterior campaign (do you need an ambassador?) and the @cheekypandahq poster. I hate runnning, but I love marathons. Besides the heroic effort of the runners, marathons unleash some of the best copywriting and creativity in audience & supporters. These signs are perfectly showing that: 1. AI will never be as good as humans in copywriting (you can train Claude as much as you want, it will just never get there) 2. Very few people talk organically about brands, and just a handful of brands are really embedded into culture I stole these pics from everywhere online, so please TAG yourself if it’s your work! On Monday we only need pretty things, so here’s an incredible collection to start the week off with just pretty adverts and billboards from October. If you also rate the ads that you see in the wild, follow @carlotalksadv for daily ads ratings and marketing secrets. #advertisingtips #copywritingtips #ratings #billboards #posters by @carlotalksadv
Nothing says more Sunday than a breakfast with a parmigiana di melanzane from your favorite Italian deli after taking pics of some (mostly boring) ads. Except @natural_history_museum of course If you also rate the ads that you see in the wild, follow @carlotalksadv for daily ads ratings and marketing secrets. #advertisingtips #copywritingtips #ratings #billboards #posters by @carlotalksadv
Happy Halloween with a collection of horror ads (excluding @morrisons and the Ghost movie poster). If you also rate the ads that you see in the wild, follow @carlotalksadv for daily ads ratings and marketing secrets. #advertisingtips #copywritingtips #ratings #billboards #posters by @carlotalksadv

I am absolutely obsessed with @specsavers adverts, but not just because they’re SO funny: there’s quite a method in their madness. #specsavers #posters #billboards #outofhomeadvertising #outdooradvertising by @carlotalksadv
Loooots of great stuff today: @morrisons @whichuk @klarna @yorksprovender and many more If you also rate the ads that you see in the wild, follow me for daily ads ratings and marketing secrets. #advertisingtips #copywritingtips #ratings #billboards #posters by @carlotalksadv
Simple, memorable, engaging and well branded. Exactly what you want from a great poster. This Halloween, Morrisons wanted to give customers proper value at Morrisons by bringing together fresh produce, great prices and a little seasonal fun, with a campaign turns everyday ingredients into memorable Halloween characters while keeping value front and centre. Amazing work @morrisons and agency Leo. #halloween #halloween2026 #morrisons #scary #spooky by @carlotalksadv
AI could never replicate this level of millennial nostalgia. 🥲 Mozilla’s new “Come Back to Firefox” campaign reunites some of the biggest faces from early viral internet culture, including Numa Numa Guy, Overly Attached Girlfriend, Bad Luck Brian, the “Apparently” Kid, Tay Zonday, Annoying Orange, Chuck Testa and more. Instead of simply leaning on nostalgia, the ad recreates their original looks and settings while tying them to modern frustrations like tracking, invasive ads and unwanted AI features. Early reaction online has been extremely positive, with thousands of people praising the commercial for bringing back a version of the internet that felt stranger, more personal and less manufactured. Some of the comments said things like’I never realized how much I needed this. I remember the days of using Firefox in the late 2000s. Thanks for the memories 😁’ or ‘Why did we all forget Firefox? The great millennial migration back begins with this ad lol’ Are you old enough to remember any of these? #mozilla #firefox #mozillafirefox #memenostalgia #nostalgiacore by @carlotalksadv
