Why stretch your hip flexors?

Your hip flexors help lift your knee and move your leg forward. They work every day when you walk, climb stairs, dance, or exercise—and they can feel stiff after long periods of sitting.

A gentle hip-flexor stretch can help you work on hip mobility for everyday movement. In this position, your glutes and core help you stay steady; you don’t need to be super strong to try it.

Keep your torso tall, gently squeeze the glute on the back-leg side, and ease into a comfortable stretch. No forcing, and stop if you feel pain. #carmawellness by @carmawellness
