POSTS STORIES REELS

A year of my life, and my whole heart.

At its core, this film is deeply human. Emma’s story is real, defiant, alive. Her friendship with Colin is two lives that on paper couldn’t be more different, somehow intertwined, vulnerable, honest, and absolutely full of love.

It was a privilege to help bring this story to life. Collaborating with our director, Rachel Fleit, who is such a deeply caring, brilliant human, meant so much to me. Working alongside the insanely talented Sloane Klevin was such an amazing opportunity, and it only happened because the coolest/most beautiful human, aka Katherine LeBlond, believed in me.

This film is STACKED with creative talent. Truly. Milos brought so much care and intention to the sound. Plus this weekend I finally got to meet Eimhear, who made this story possible and is simply the best, Raphaelle, whose score is stunning, Maria, our absolute beast of a colorist, Shane, our cinematographer who somehow makes running with a camera look easy, and Aly and Tony who just happen to be the coolest! Every department poured their soul into this.

Being at the world premiere in Dublin and finding out we won Best Documentary… no words. Just gratitude. Dublin won me over.

To be part of telling Emma’s story has meant more to me than I can explain. Some projects change you. This one did.

No solo fuiste mi abuelo, fuiste mi amigo, mi viejo loco, cavernícola, inventor, filósofo, comediante e incondicional.

Te amo, t’estimo y te QUIERO ❤️‍🔥 by @carmenbava

American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden is officially out on Netflix! 🫨‼️

Look at this happy nerd (second slide). You see that smile? If you want to keep it from turning into a frown, go watch it effective immediately!

So beyond grateful I got to be a part of this one and work with the best of the best, the crème de la crème, the dream team supreme, the storytelling machine, the frame by frame dream, the docuseries regime...(okay I’ll stop).

Go check it out! 💥 by @carmenbava

OUT NOW! Stop everything, go watch it now!!!

I had the absolute best time working on this with an incredible team at @unioneditorial. This is the first show I am a part of through my residency at @industrystandard.work (which is still wild to me that I get to be part of this) I’ve never learned so much on a job AND met such amazing people at the same time. Can’t wait for everyone to check it out! 🫶✨ by @carmenbava
