I get some little messages from God here and there- often acting as bumpers for life but this one though… I had to write it down #discernment #holyspirit #fall #wordfromgod by @carolelilibet

Yesterday( 11.1) my dad drew his last breath. I keep trying to remind myself that he is at an all you can eat buffet with Jesus and all family and friends that proceeded him in death and no longer carries the heaviness of his mortal shell. When he first heard this song ‘ the blessing’ he had me play it on loop for him. My dad was a charmer for sure. Made friends wherever he went. Rarely said a harsh word to me. He always said he was so glad I was his daughter. I prayed for God to do something beautiful/ amazing in this situation and He saw fit to take dad earlier than we all anticipated instead of having long drawn out suffering . This pic was from this past Fri where he was placing an order for Burger King. He had big adventures on Friday. I’m still waiting on him to find a heavenly loophole just so he can find a way to get me to door dash him a meal . 🥹 by @carolelilibet

So we have moved to the portion of life where I’m just walking around in public crying. Dad has stopped dialysis and is now under hospice care. I was *ok* until I started seeing the effects on him physically. This is going to be a rough one for sure. Spending this time in the word , the promise of eternal life and worship..it’s hard . by @carolelilibet
