MATTHEW’S FIRST IRONMAN! 🔥

Six months of solid work, consistent training, and a big Ironman build — all coming together on race day!

Matthew showed what happens when you commit to the process and keep showing up week after week. Matt finished off his very first IRONMAN with a 3:55 marathon.

Consistency is key! No shortcuts, just hard work, patience, and trust in the plan.

🔥 JUST THE BEGINNING: FLYNN🔥

From rescuing lives with LifeFlight to chasing finish lines. Flynn is one hardworking young athlete!

With a strong swimming background in surf lifesaving, he’s built an impressive fitness base over the past six months, highlighted by a fantastic 3:16 at the Gold Coast Marathon.

In his first-ever IRONMAN, he took on a seriously tough course and crossed the finish line in an incredible 10:52!

I absolutely love working with this young athlete and seeing what he’s capable of. The work ethic, commitment and potential are all there — and this is just the beginning!

Keep chasing those goals, Flynn

As endurance coaches we preach consistency on a daily basis, and coaching is no different.

Our first look at Kona > Port Mac as a team. We had discussed for months how to best embrace the challenge and lean into the opportunity of momentum.

We focused on the energy it would provide to our athletes to try and connect the two massive weekends that sat thousands of miles apart. Dare I say it, even social media played a role.

Some things worked, others didn’t, and that’s OK.

Could not be prouder of Koa Sports last few weeks.

🔥 KASPER – FROM ZERO TO IRONMAN! 🔥

9 months ago, I started working with Kasper. He had never done a triathlon before, but a bet with his mates was enough to get him signed up for a IRONMAN! 🙌🏼

Starting from scratch in swim, bike and run, we slowly built up the training load, one step at a time.

A strong, consistent performance from start to finish. Solid effort all day long! 👊🏼

Race eve at IRONMAN Australia Port Macquarie for the Koa Sports captains run.

Amongst the team we have 23 first timers tackling either the 70.3 or IRONMAN distance.

Shout out to little Xander Steffen-Murray who took the Ironkids race off the front… I wonder who he gets that from? 🤪

Back running 🏃‍♀️🌿

Beautiful trail up to Smoky Cape Lighthouse today. Bloody hilly 😅 but I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Nothing beats a good trail run, fresh air and a few hills to remind the legs they’re alive 😂
