POSTS STORIES REELS

It’s officially LIVE 🎉

I can’t actually believe I’m finally saying that 🤣

If you’d told me years ago that creating content on my phone would become such a huge part of growing my business, I’m not sure I’d have believed you.

I’m a brow artist. I’m not a social media manager, I defo don’t have a marketing degree and I definitely didn’t start out knowing how to create good content 😌

I’ve just learnt as I’ve gone along.

I’ve filmed A LOT of brows, spent far too many hours editing 🤣 tried things that worked, tried plenty that didn’t… and over time I found my own way of doing it.

And being able to show my work properly has genuinely helped me grow my business……

Clients finding my page and booking in. Being booked months in advance. Growing the education side of my business. Working with brands I genuinely love and being given opportunities within an industry I LOVE being part of.

You might already be bloody brilliant at what you do… but are you actually SHOWING people how good you are?

Getting better at content doesn’t have to be about wanting thousands of followers or trying to go viral.

Maybe you want more clients, dreams of educating one day, working with brands or more opportunities within the industry.

Whatever your reason, getting better at showing your work can only help more people SEE it.

And if I can learn how to do this, you absolutely can too 🙏

I’ve taken everything that goes on inside my slightly chaotic editing brain and put it into one place.

How I film, how I edit, the apps I use, how I create different content from the same treatment and my exact editing method, simplified to help you create More content in Less time.

Including how I take around 90 minutes of treatment footage and turn it into 8+ pieces of content 🙌🏼

Honestly, this is the course I Wish I’d had when I was trying to figure all of this out for myself……

The Content Creation Course is now LIVE 🎉

Well, I’ve only gone and done it! 🎓

I’ve officially completed my VTCT Level 3 Access to Aesthetic Therapies qualification!

Firstly, before anyone panics…
I’M NOT GIVING UP BROWS!
Brows have been my life for the last 10 years and that’s not about to change!

And despite the word ‘aesthetics’ in the course title, I won’t be offering Botox or fillers. I’ve always believed injectables should be carried out by medically qualified professionals. That’s just my personal opinion and not the direction I want to take my own business in.

I’ve worked in permanent makeup for over six years, so skin anatomy, wound healing and how skin responds to treatment are already a big part of what I do.

But I’ve become more and more fascinated by skin, particularly after seeing the incredible results I’ve had from microneedling on my own skin, and the results my clients are getting too!

If you know me, you’ll know I’m a bit obsessive about what I do 😂 I don’t just want to know how something works, I want to understand why, and how to make it even better.

This Level 3 means I can now progress onto my Level 4 in Advanced Skin Rejuvenation…..

My goal is to train in more advanced skin treatments, devices and technologies, and bring some incredible professional skincare ranges into clinic. Results-driven treatments using the best products I can get my hands on….

Now, can we discuss the studying?! GOOD LORD 😂

The anatomy and physiology alone has been INSANE. Muscles, bones, nerves, hormones, the cardiovascular system… parts of the body I didn’t even know existed 🤣🤣

There have been some very long days and moments when I’ve wondered why the hell I signed up for this 😂 But I’m so glad I did.

After all these years, I still absolutely love learning. I’m not looking to change what I do, just add another string to my bow and a little more variety in clinic.

You’ll probably still find me doing brows when I’m 90 😂 I’m just making a little more room for skin alongside them.

Onwards to Level 4…apparently I haven’t had enough studying just yet

Huge thank you to all the team at @harrymorley_academy who made this all possible, I can’t thank you enough.x by @carolineneville_

I think I can safely say these are up there with the trickiest brows I’ve EVER tattooed!

Firstly, we had one brow sitting considerably higher than the other. Then we had no arches to work with.

AND to top it all off, both tails (the ends of the brows) were heading south! 🫣

Not exactly the easiest starting point!

So when I’m designing brows, I ideally want the tails to finish roughly in line with, or slightly higher than, the fronts of the brows…… Because when those tails drop too low, they can drag the whole appearance of the eye area down with them.

And that’s what I wanted to change here with these brows….

My aim was to introduce a little arch, give those tails a much needed lift and create a more open, lifted appearance around the eyes.

BUT… and this is a big but!

Because her left brow naturally sat so much higher than her right, getting both arches to sit at exactly the same height was never going to happen.

And sometimes that’s just the reality of working with natural facial asymmetry!

So rather than trying to force two perfectly identical brows (and potentially making things look worse!), it was about finding the best possible balance between the two.

A little adjustment here and there, some clever shaping and a LOT of checking, rechecking and checking again! 😂

The result is a set of brows that look much more balanced, with a softer arch, lifted tails and a more open appearance to the eye area.

The mapping of these brows had me sweating let me tell you…..

There is so much to consider when tattooing brows and along side working on mature skin which in my opinion is the trickiest skin to work on….. I am so pleased with end result 🫶 we’ve balanced the brows, created a slight arched and lifted the tails, giving the whole eye a more lifted appearance 🙏

Every face is different, every set of brows comes with its own challenges, and sometimes you’ve just got to work with what Mother Nature gave you! 🤎

These ones definitely made me earn my cuppa! ☕😂

The colour and definition will soften as they heal, I’ll show you the healed results in around 8 weeks 🫶

Fresh hairstroke brows 🤎

Swipe for the before & after 🫶

These will fade by around 30% as they heal, softening and blending beautifully with the natural brow hairs.

Imagine waking up every morning and not having to pencil your brows in!

Now is the perfect time to book your permanent makeup appointment as we head into the winter months and have less UV exposure…

Results typically last 18 months to 2 years before a colour boost is needed to keep them looking fresh.

A little extra layer of protection before we wax… and honestly, why wouldn’t we? 👏🏼

@saintandserenity Second Skin here… a little barrier between the skin and the wax.

It’s actually a powder, but with a much creamier consistency… so it glides beautifully over the skin without powder flakes flying everywhere 😂

This is amazing for those more sensitive clients who tend to go super red after waxing… such a simple little addition when you know you’ve got a client whose skin needs that extra bit of protection.

Especially when we’re working on the delicate skin around the brows.
