A lovely selection of some of my favourites from the late spring/summers angling from a few lakes around the Cotswolds. @baitworks pro-flow, Atlantic Heat and Cre-Amino coupled with a variety of particles from the lads at @carpparticlesuk was only going to result in success. I’d highly recommend having a look at what they have to offer if you haven’t already. As the temps start to drop over the next couple of months I’ll be switching my attention to the Zander & Barbel and hopefully, myself and @calanddani can get that long overdue session pencilled in the calendar🤙🏻 by @samallenangling

🎣 Name: Billy Brickell

🪣 Bait Used: Chilli Hemp

🪝 Rig of Choice: Stiff Slip D

🐋 Weight of Fish: 41lb 8oz

📍 Venue: Southern Syndicate

📝 Catch Details:
After a few failed autumn campaigns, Billy took a heavy pre-baiting approach this year, spending three weeks baiting ‘Baby Phonebook’s’ favourite autumn feeding zone with Chilli Hemp & XXX Boilie. 🌶️🎯

The plan was to wait until the September full moon, but with the heatwave breaking and rain rolling in, the conditions were too good to ignore. 🌧️🌙

Barely an hour after casting out, the spool churned and after a savage battle, Baby Phonebook was safely in the net at 41lb 8oz. 🪝🔥
