'Young Warriors' - @youngwarriorsmovie Out NOW only on @angel! https://www.angel.com/watch/young-warriors Quality Christ-centered God-honoring films are what we want to see more of - And what I want to make more of! Being a Tennessee kid, how incredible is it to be able to out of Memphis, TN? @harrissepefilms is rolling with the wonderful 'Elijah Peel' earlier this year, and now 'Young Warriors' comes to Angel! Had a blast working with @jeremypiven too, whose craftsmanship and respect for the work was impactful. I thoroughly enjoyed throwing blows on screen. Huge special thanks to @harrissepefilms, @paulinasofiaoh, @arenascasting, @producegravity! And everyone involved! by @carternelms
'Vindication: Search & Rescue' Enjoy a quick snippet (and a few other shot teases) of my character Erik from the most recent chapter of @vindicationseries. If you haven't yet caught 'Vindication: Search & Rescue', stream it now on @angel or @redeemtv1! Or buy / rent on Prime Video for the special "Director's Cut" version! Either way, don't look for this one under the listing for the TV show, because this is a stand-alone 75-minute feature film / special episode, listed separately on all platforms from the main series, but taking place after the previous 4 seasons of the show. Don't sweat it if you haven't seen the rest of the show yet, because this film functions on its own. So check it out either way - and if you've not seen the show and you like what you see here, then there are 4 seasons waiting out there to watch after! Major thank you to @jarodoflaher and @ronihummel for the opportunity to step into this world. We actors often get the fun job of jumping in to a project after years or more of work was done just to get to the point of shooting. And in this case, there were several seasons worth of story, world-building, and popularity for 'Vindication' to boot. We filmmakers in Christian entertainment tend to especially love being involved with works such as these. And so the chance to step in to this film with so much legacy already built was a greatly appreciated opportunity. On this note, to the actors out there who have not yet signed up on ActorBay.io, Jarod built his own brand new casting platform and launched it during the casting of this film. ActorBay is always growing and I and other actors have booked multiple fantastic projects through it. Keep eyes peeled for more casting opportunities for the NEXT chapter of Vindication after Search & Rescue, to be coming soon! by @carternelms
'Last Light' A short film Enjoy a scene, a narrated montage, and a few samples of the amazing special effects from this short film shot late last year alongside @daxdupuy. This reel shows only samples clips from the whole film, in no particular order. 'Last Light' made use of a cool remote location in Georgia (see the giant satellite dishes), a fantastic set, and some incredible special effects - which included some fun free-falling stunt work from Dax and me both. Been eager to share a bit about this one for a while. Dang fun film to make! And great to work with you Dax, Ashton Weiss, Zachary Gray, @nicklivanos, @fowlerfilms, and everyone else on set! by @carternelms

Meet the incredibly talented @carternelms as he shares two of his biggest takeaways from training at NSMA. After exploring other acting classes, Carter found that @tinagallogirl ’s depth of knowledge and unique approach to teaching resonated with him the most. At NSMA, we build the work from the ground up—focusing on the foundational principles of the craft and equipping actors with the tools they need to dive deeper into every scene and character with confidence, truth, and excellence. We’re so proud to be part of Carter’s journey and can’t wait to see what’s next. 🎭✨ #nsma #studentspotlight #actingschool #actortraining #actingclass by @carternelms
The industry changed around @carternelms before he ever stepped into it, and that timing is part of why his story worked at all. Sometimes the door opens because the world shifted, not because you did. Hear the whole audition story in episode 51, now streaming since July 13. by @carternelms
@carternelms spent years training his brain to think in logic and code, and instead of leaving that behind when he found faith, he let it deepen it. You don't have to choose between being analytical and being spiritual. Sometimes they're the same muscle. We go deeper on this in episode 51 of Heart of the Hustle, live since July 13. by @carternelms
I think we underestimate how much fear can look identical to wisdom right up until the moment we act anyway. Carter Nelms sat in that discomfort for two full days before anything shifted. Growth rarely feels instant, even when it's right. This is one part of a much bigger conversation, catch all of it in episode 51, out since July 13. by @carternelms
