I had the opportunity to design a huge 20 foot drop for a production of SWEENEY TODD at @shortnorthstage. There was a lot of research involved in the original British Beehive concept and this productions Dante's Inferno concept. It was a challenge but so fun. There were a lot of changes made once printing on such a large scale became a challenge, but I am still happy with how it came out. Here is to a good run! #productiondesign #digitalart #sweeneytodd by @cartooningari
New illustration. I was trying very different things. I'm not sure if I like it! Lol. What do you think? Do I paint it on a canvas? #illustration #kitconnor #procreate by @cartooningari
Another logo for my series!!! This is one of my favorite shows, and if I ever get to direct #intothewoods this vibe totally goes with my concept. So.... Who is looking for a director that comes with his own artwork??? 👀 #musicaltheater #theaterartist #illustration by @cartooningari
Another show logo I had fun to do! I kind of arbitrarily picked SOMETHING ROTTEN, because I love the show. It was fun creating a border of splattered tomatoes, fried eggs, and playbills. Of course at the center of it all we needed to showcase Nick's disdain of Shakespeare. What do you think? Would you rent this image for your production? #somethingrotten #illustration #musicaltheater #showart by @cartooningari
I made another show logo for my collection! Im very excited to start rehearsing this show this week, and I was inspired to take my own hand at some artwork for it! If you are doing SHE LOVES ME or any other fun show and are in need of promotional art, hit me up! #shelovesme #promotionalart #illustration #musicalart by @cartooningari
I had the pleasure of doing a commission for my friend @melissasfamous and the teachers of her school for a retirement gift! It is always such an honor marking a milestone in someones life with my art, and I am always grateful for it! by @cartooningari
I asked a good friend of mine if he would help create my business logo. We collaborated and the end result was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend him for any artist needs you are looking for. @cartooningari #laserengraving #art #smallbusiness by @cartooningari
I got to do this awesome superman style cartoon for the new show, LIFE LINE in London! It was so much fun throwing in some cast inside jokes, and tidbits of history! #comicbook #cartoonist #lifeline #procreate #arielmesseca by @cartooningari
A commission I did for a friend! (Two versions). My prompt was to do a caricature of him and his Grandfather at a piano, I wanted to go a step further and honor Al Hirschfeld stylistically because we are theater people! #caricature #artist #arielmesseca #alhirschfeld #penandinkartist by @cartooningari

I've really been enjoying making 'cover' art, incorporating illustration with text on fictional works I love. Would love to keep doing more of this within my career. Here is #lewiscarroll #aliceinwonderland #arielmesseca #artist #illustration by @cartooningari
