🥹✨ by @casax.sma

Casa X + Marionnis

A shala (Sanskrit: शाला) is a traditional Sanskrit word that translates to “home,” “house,” “abode,” or “covered hall/pavilion.”

Sometimes you meet a fellow teacher and know your wisdom practices are meant to flow together. I am so thrilled Adrián Barajas is joining Answer Your Call to Adventure Retreat as a special guest teacher, leading his profound Toltec Recapitulation workshops and teachings.

Raised between Mexico and the United States, Adrián Barajas is a movement teacher exploring the intersection of Toltec practices, Kundalini yoga, and dance. His Toltec Recapitulation workshops combines Magical Passes with mindful reflection to cultivate presence, release old patterns, and reclaim energy.

Ancient myths act as a blueprint for conscious awakening. They remind us that transformation often begins with a Call to explore something new. It's a call we feel in our bones.

We feel the seeds of transformation within us stir as a longing.

A sense that the life we have been living is no longer the whole story of our potential.

But in our fast-moving culture that pulls us to look outward and fuel our days with distraction, it can be difficult to hear what is asking to emerge.

Answering the Call the Adventure sometimes means stepping away from the familiar long enough to hear what is ready to awaken and bloom. 🪷

My January retreat, Answer Your Call to Adventure, creates space for that listening.

For five days, we’ll step outside the momentum of ordinary life and into the mythic landscape of the journey, supported by Kundalini Yoga, nature, ritual, cultural immersion, and the timeless wisdom of myth.

This is a space to listen more deeply.

To meet the parts of yourself asking to be known.

To get clear on what is calling you forward.

And to gather the inner resources to cross the threshold into what comes next.

Perhaps the journey has already begun.

🌹Myth has the power to transform us 🐆

Ancient stories and folklore reminds us that within every threshold lies an invitation to awaken courage we didn’t know we had, to reclaim lost parts of ourselves, and step more fully into who we are becoming.

When we integrate mythic wisdom with Kundalini Yoga, we don’t just understand our journey intellectually, we EMBODY our transformation.

This January, join me in the mountains of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for Answer Your Call to Adventure, a five-day journey through myth, movement, ritual, nature, and the Hero’s Journey.

*Early Bird pricing ends in 2 weeks.*

🎉 RETREAT ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉

There are moments in life when something deeper begins to call.

The unknown calls us — not because we are lost, but because something in us is ready to return.

Sometimes, to hear that call, we need to step outside of our ordinary lives.

This is the journey at the heart of Answer Your Call to Adventure, a retreat in the mountains outside San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, weaving together Kundalini Yoga, mythic wisdom, ritual, and nature-based inquiry.

The Hero’s Journey will be our map, guiding us as we step beyond the familiar and meet the wisdom and guides waiting for us just beyond the threshold of our daily lives.

Together, we will return...

to moving with greater joy
to listening more deeply

So that the parts of ourselves that feel most alive,
most instinctive,
and wildly free
have space to return home.

If you are called forward to this journey, I invite you to join me.
