Humbled.
Truly grateful and honored to be embraced by @mocacleveland and viewed as deserving to be around such company as the group that they’ve assembled. Words can’t begin to describe the vibrations in this building. Major congratulations to all the innovators selected to be a part of the new agency!! (I’m looking forward to collaborating/connecting with you all). Thank you to everyone at #moCa , Thank you to my family @allsxlost as well as every soul that has shown support. #ALLLOVE !!” by @casebarge

My creative practice exists at the intersection of culinary arts, literature, storytelling, and community.

Food has been one of the primary ways I have understood family, culture, identity, and connection throughout my life. I began cooking at the age of 12, and over the years my culinary practice expanded into private chef services, catering, pop-up dining experiences, hospitality, and plant-based culinary education.

Writing became another way for me to tell stories that could not always be expressed through food alone. My debut memoir and recipe book, Always With Love, brings together personal history, family memories, life experiences, and recipes to document the journey that shaped me as a chef and creative artist.

My work is intentionally interdisciplinary. I see food as a form of storytelling and storytelling as a way of creating community. Through culinary experiences, writing, music, and creative expression, I seek to create spaces where people can connect with themselves, with one another, and with the stories that make us who we are.

As a Cleveland-born artist, my relationship with community is central to my practice. I want my work to encourage emerging chefs, creatives, and young people to recognize the value of their own stories and understand that creativity can become a vehicle for growth, connection, and positive change.

My goal is not simply to create a book or a meal. It is to create work that people can experience, remember, and carry with them.

Always With Love

We assisted the good brother @casebarge with a bit of design direction and lended a few collages to his newly released memoir Always With Love. The biggest salute on turning your idea into a fully manifested piece of work. by @casebarge

The first 3 slots have been filled for the first 100 copies ✨📖✨of “Always With Love” yes 3 haha but I truly appreciate the support and EVERY single sell matters!! This started as an idea in which I wasn’t even sure how I would accomplish. To now being the Editor In Chief and a self published author.

Today there aren’t too many chefs in the kitchen that look like me, and even when there is our ideas tend to be ignored or looked over. @heal_thy_living is a way for me to provide the experience I see fit paired with incredible food full of intention and love. Join me on this journey, I’m looking forward to opening the door of @heal_thy_living one day soon. Stop by eatwithhealthyliving.com preorder is still available 8/28 is the official release!!
