Just wanted to add I remember being pleasantly surprised many years ago when I watched Kenneth Clark’s Civilisation series (the first mini series ever? From the BBC 1969), and a younger Patrick Stewart appeared to do scene from Hamlet as Horatio. He will be incredibly missed, rip Sir Patrick Stewart by @caseyarts77

I am very fortunate in friends.
My mailbox surprised me with Darren Hick’s new book “The Love of Analog” yesterday! Scroll to see that I made it into the book! This is quite an honour for me, as much as being kicked in the groin in his remarque.
*Yes! Absolutely rush out and buy this important book, xmas gifts for all etc.!!
This is Darren’s fourth book, and can’t wait to read it. He is an aesthetics professor and author, expert in art copyright issues, artist and raconteur friend I have known since high school.
Darren, thank you for your friendship and wisdom, for including me in your book, and for all the kicks. Love ya man. 🥾💥

We're excited to welcome @caseyarts77 from @theraidstudio to this year's Geeky Gifts Holiday Market!

Hailing from Stoney Creek, Ontario, Casey is an incredibly talented artist with a background in fine art who brings traditional painting techniques into the world of comic books, creating some seriously stunning artwork along the way!

Casey has worked with many of the industry's biggest publishers, creating variant covers for some incredible titles, including Image Comics' Exquisite Corpses, Battle Beast and Blood of the Wolf Man. His work has also appeared in the award-nominated independent horror anthology Cauldron. 💀📚

And if you're a trading card collector, there's a good chance you've come across his artwork there too! Casey has contributed to Marvel trading cards for Upper Deck, along with Invincible and The Walking Dead cards for OverPower.

He's currently hard at work on even more trading card projects and new independent comics!

Whether you're a comic collector, original art enthusiast or just appreciate incredible illustration, Casey Parsons is an artist you're definitely going to want to check out at Geeky Gifts!

Stop by his table, meet the artist and see some of his amazing work in person! by @caseyarts77

The great spanish illustrator Sanjulián (Manuel Pérez Clemente) has passed away at age 85. His work has been influential on my own, from his Vampirella to pulp novel covers, his sense of power, composition, light, form and unique colours and textures always bring me back to study his work. He will remain my favourite spanish illustrator and continue to inspire. Check his work out if he is new to you.
